whats the weather like in february?

Thinking of booking the DH in Feb half term as its also DD's birthday. However, after last December (2011) being so cold we had to go back to the hotel and the kids were crying come late afternoon we're a bit nervous about what the weather wll be like in February.

If they were cold in December lilacgems, the chances are they could be just as cold in February.

I have been in DLRP late March one year and it was so old we had to wear a couple of wollen tops one on the other plus gloves, scarves etc.
