Whats the walk like to SSR from DTD at night? and boat ?

Hi

Just curious, as Dh and myself are staying @ SSR at the end of July.

I know you can walk to DTD - where do you come out and what is it like @ night. Is it well lit?

Also how frequently do the boats run? Do they go from SSR to market place? What time is last boat?

When you walk you come out across from the bus stops at the Marketplace.


The boats run to DtD every half hour at night. The CM at the DtD dock told us that they are going to be adding another boat soon so there will be a boat every half hour during the day and every 15 minutes at night. I'm not sure if it's true but that's what we were told.

I don't think the pathway was lighted last Nov/Dec when we were there. Maybe someone that has tried it recently can tell us.

The pathway was lit last Sept and Oct - it is what I would call sudued lighting but more than enough to see the paths and everything around them clearly. It runs along the edge of the water by the CP buildings and as stated previously comes out by the bus stop. We didn't do the walk from WS so can't comment on that end of the resort.

One from the boat dock across the the golf bridge and turn left will take you to DTD West Side it seemed darker that way but both where lit enough to see your path.

My guess is from the part of DD with the clubs/food to the furthest parts of SSR could be 30 min.?

The walkways are lighted. Not super bright but kind of like the walking paths at other resorts.

It's a nice stroll. We walked the complete circle, from Congress Park to the West side, through PI, Marketplace and back to Congress Park and had a great time

is what it took from the Springs at SSR to the movie theater at DTD I know because we met our son there while visiting freinds at SSR.
