Whats the truth? Is Dueling Dragons a single coaster

Hi All , coming down soon....YESSSSSS I saw threads earlier saying of the refurbishing of dueling dragons, saying that Dueling Dragons is going to be only single coaster ride in October . Switching from Fire to Ice throughout the day. Any Crowd numbers would be greatly appreciated as well. So soon for a family in need of a great vacation......

last I heard they are running them on set hours, fire from 12-7 and ice from 10 - 5. not sure if that is still the same though

wow...i think that stinks! i was just there in august and i know for me the thrilling thing was the feeling like you were going to run into the other coaster that left the same time you did!!

When I was there last Saturday and Sunday they were both running.

Is this legit? Do they actually do that? I have been many tmies and got ticked cause it seemed like the operators didn't care about having them launch at the same time. Usually, they are really cool and will slow one down to let the other catch up the hill. It takes A LOT out of the ride if you don't get the near-miss loop...especially if you are on Fire.

Both sides were running when I visited a week ago. I didn't see a sign that said it was running one side only.

This isn't Gwzai, folks, where one train is dispatched when it's ready.
