What's the status of the park tours?

Are the tours done any more at WDW or at DL? If not, anyone know whether there are plans to bring 'em back, or are they gone forever? And outside the tours, are they giving out any of the cards that were given in the tours, like the Adventureland furniture/poster cards?

In addition to the regular quest cards, they are now handing out:

pink Nemo chair
Rhino jungle cruise photo safari poster
Gorilla jungle cruise photo safari
Adventureland explorer's safari carpet
adventureland safari lifestyle collection
adventurland jungle cruise hippo rug
jungle cruise explorer's tent grest room
big thunder mountain teleporters

They're handing these out at both parks? Are the tours gone for good, now?

And, no way to get the other cards, any more?

Don't know about Disneyland. This is what they gave yesterday at MK.

Do you just go to the VMK area and ask them for cards?? I have a couple of PDF's to turn in, but wondering how to get other in park things..

You've got to go to VMK Central and hand in completed quests - at least Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Frontierland, and maybe also Tomorrowland - anyone know for sure?

And then they scan your pass to make sure you haven't been given any of these prizes already within the past 90 days.

Yes, electriclime that's right.

You turn in your completed quests and any pdf and they scan your pass. Anything that has been received with in 90 days, they will not give you again. Same with the wristbands. You get a wristband when you complete the quests, so if you turn in a PDF for the wristband, they will not give you another. That happened yesterday to another DIS.

Darnit - when I did the quests last month at WDW they gave me a bunch of cards, but not the Captain Nemo chair card, or the Safari Lifestyle COllection card. :-b

So it looks like there is no longer any way to get cards such as 29/30 Virtual Magic Kingdom Credits, or 30/30 VMK Insider Tour, or any of the Haunted Mansion quest cards at all?

I got the 29/30 once when they were out of a card. maybe that's the only way to get it.

As for the VIP card, I don't know. I have a bunch of those cards, but the codes are all used.

The guy at VMK Central in WDW said they would not be bringing back the tours.

What really upset me was that all of the computers inside WMK Central were not working. They lost their internet connection or something and have been down for last three days.

Now how can a company as big as Disney not be able to fix something like that?
