Listing to the podcasts, and skimming through old posts, everybody's mentioning how Disneyland Shanghai is over budget and affecting things in other parks.

1 - Where is this coming from or where can I read a synopsis of this?
2 - What's been affected so far?
3 - Any details about the whole situation would awesome...

TIA

There are more threads all over the disboards about how Shanghai is over budget and late. Shanghai is more than $800 million dollars over budget and was supposed to open in 2015. Shanghai is also in mainland China which is a communist country. They are not the easiest people to work with. With an easy search you can find all sorts of things that are being affected by Shanghai Disneyland.

Thanks for the link. I searched for Shanghai in the search bar under the rumors forum, and didn't find a place with the full story. I'll try to search better next time. Thanks again.

If they were smart they would walk away and cut their losses. If the CEO was a shrewd businessman he would have.

I don't think there is a specfic place with the entire story but multiple places with pieces of the story. Every day brings something new with Shanghai.

Bob really wants China and they are too far into this 6 billion+ to back out.

He has to be careful. If it undermines the corporation then walk away and with huge price increases they are battling for their corporate life. Should have walked away long time ago. Right now it's like trying to bail water out of the Titanic with a tea cup.

They will save it, but at what price?

I'm glad you asked this! I was wondering if/where I could get the whole story too!
