I swear, my hormones are giving me a time. I was on my way home from work today. In a fine and dandy mood. Then Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" comes on the radio and I start to freaking bawl. :sad1::sad: Nuts!!!! I have heard this song a million times!! Later on I saw on the Yahoo main page that the founder of Pink Floyd had passed away. Odd, huh?

What is the wierdest thing that has made you start crying and you don't know why?

ETA: I really topped off my crying tank this evening. My husband had his monthly geek meeting so I spent the evening watching "The Elephant Man." NOT smart.

This is so embarassing to admit but I cried while I watched Beverly Hills 90210 today. I tape them from the Soap channel and watch them when I get home. Today was the episode where they graduated and decorated the Hollywood sign and I cried like a baby and then I was so embarassed that I cried! I am pregnant so my hormones may be out of whack but I had yet to cry at something as ridiculous as 90210!!

I cried watching the movie "Rugrats in Paris". I couldn't believe I was sitting there in the theater crying during a kids' cartoon movie.

As you may or may not know, Chuckie's mother died when he was young, so it was just him and his dad. Well, Chuckie and his dad accompany all the other Rugrats and their parents to Paris. They go to this party and they have a Mother/child dance. They play this sappy slow song and all the kids start dancing and whirling around with their moms except Chuckie who's just standing there watching them dance.

It just made me so sad to think of kids without their moms. (Chuckie's dad ends up marrying this great lady at the end of the movie, so he does get a step-mommy and a step-sister to boot.)

I cry at a lot of silly things...commercials, TV movies...I think I cried when watching That's So Raven yesterday evening.

hallmark commercials. No matter which one, i always cry!

I cried during CARS, when Guido changes the tires on Lightning and the other pit crew from the other cars are all amazed!

i'm a cry baby

Woohoo, mine is actually WDW-related! :cool1:

At the beginning of Honey I Shrunk the Audience, there was a short movie that was sponsored by Kodak and it had Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" as the theme song. I don't know what it was, but it always made me get tears in my eyes!

I thought I was home free on our last trip in March, because I noticed that the movie had changed. But nooooooooo, they had to go and make it about a boy that lost his Golden Retriever and I was missing Chloe so much, that I out and out cried!

I felt like such a fool and was trying not to draw any attention to myself, but my whole family kept asking me if I was okay, because they knew it was going to do me in. So, of course everyone standing around me thought I was a nutcase.

Oh, and then there's the old Campbell's Soup commercials. Yes, I know, I'm a dork.

momm2four, don't feel bad, I cry at almost ALL movies. Yep, if it's on the big screen, chances are good I'll be sobbing at some point. Cried last week during Charlie & the Choc. Factory, even though I've read the book about a bazillion times, seen the old version a bazillion and one times, and this was the 2nd time seeing the new one in the theater. So I know it's coming, but when Charlie opens up that Wonka bar & sees the Golden Ticket, here come the waterworks.

And it's not just the theater movies that do it. Pretty much any of the "classic" Disney movies will make me cry, especially ones I remember watching as a kid. Dumbo, the scene with his mother in the "jail" car... I tear up just thinking about it! The Fox & the Hound... when they have to say goodbye, I cried at that one at 4 years old. It was also the first movie that made my DD cry, so it's now a family favorite.

But yeah, the silliest things can set it off.

I was crying during the shuttle launch on Tuesday and had to explain to my dd9 and ds6 why - with the whole back story on the shuttles.

I also was crying during a repeat of the Friends finale last night - now, THAT is pathetic!

I am getting teary eyed just reading these post.

;)

I cried yesterday because my fiance wouldn't drive to the movies. I dont even know why it made me cry. Its kinda silly if you think about it.

Also, some movies make me cry.
Commericials make me cry.
Tonight at work, one of my coworkers started telling me about her dog dying and I cried.

I cry when I hear The Rose by Bette Midler.
I cry at just about every lifetime movie.
I cry everytime we go to WDW and get to the entrance with the big signs! It reminds me of when I would go every year with my BFF when we were kids before she passed away.

There are more but can't think of them now.....

I cry when I walk into Epcot. I feel so at home there and then I hear the music, and yep every single time I start to cry.

And if I'm really tired and dh says something funny I'll start to cry. That's when he shoos me off to bed.

Anytime there is a flag ceremony or on the 4th of July when you do the pledge and national anthem... I cry. Just thinking of how lucky I am.

I cry easily also. I cry at movies, TV shows, commercials, when some is happy with their win on The Price is Right.
I cry every time I watch the newer version of the Parent Trap when the daughter goes to England and meets her mom. I cry when the housekeeper at the father's house that she has the twin sister. I cry when they shoot the bridal scene at the Elizabeth James studio, I cry at the end when they come together. I have seen that movie 100 times and you can count on the tears just flowing. I can't help it.

I cry aso often at certain touching moments in life that DD will just stop and look at me cause she knows her ol' mom is crying!

Oh! And we are watching MeerKat Manor every Friday night at 8 on Animal Planet. Cutest animals and neat show but I have cried with each episode. One night, watching a death scene, I bawled so hard it was crazy. Let's just say it reminded me of last Sept. when we had 2 baby squirrels come to our house and I cared for them like a mother hen. I lost both of them and, I feel sure, my heart will never be the same.

I cry during Illuminations in WDW, and also at the end of most movies, tv shows, commercials, etc. I also cry on Christmas, Easter, the 4th of July, and other holidays. Heck, I remember crying when I made my first communion in 2nd grade!

LOL, Spacemountain! I cry during Illuminations also That is my favorite fireworks show and I could just watch it over and over and the tears would come. I make sure I have kleenexs in my fanny pack for Illuminations. The fireworks, the music and message of the music touches my heart.

At 8yo I went to WDW for the first time. It was '71 and the was only the MK. I saw the Mickey Mouse Revue in FantasyLand and sat there and cried and cried. My mother got quite upset with me. Here I was at WDW, crying. After them driving all the way down from NJ and spending "all that $$$" on this trip and I was crying!! I cried because it was during that moment that I was touched by the magic of Walt Disney. I can't tell you how grateful I was to him for creating the place. I don't think back then that I even knew he had already passed on.
I still cry every time I go to MGM and watch "One Man's Dream". It is embarrassing, really.
My heart breaks that Walt Disney never saw his dream of WDW come to life. I suppose if I could wish for something of the sort, it would be for Walt to experience the wonderful world of Disney at WDW for a few weeks. :goodvibes God Bless his Soul.

:happytv: :sad1:

Oh my, I cry at just about anything! LOL! My DD hears me sniffling at anytime and will ask if I need the Kleenex. It's awful.

Of course, the one that drives me nuts and I have now just taken to flipping the channel is the Chase credit card commercial....it's the one where they show the different credit cards you need through life (and Disney one is in there! LOL!), I believe ending with the AARP one...basically showing the couple getting married, having kids, then growing older, etc...

It's so annoying because it's *JUST* a commercial but I start tearing up everytime.

Of course, I've cried at the kid's shows too -- LOL! Including cartoons!

I cry with songs, just all sorts of things...it's basically the known fact that I cry at the drop of a hat here.

I've always been a bit of a "need the Kleenex" person but geez after having kids now anything will set me off (and I can't even use the "I'm pregnant & hormonal excuse" anymore! I guess I'm just hormonal perpetually. :lmao: )

The kids were just watching this recently on TV and was that part early on in the movie? I wasn't really watching too much but saw a part where Chuckie was just sitting off in the corner but they had showed the other ones with their moms. I started tearing up so I basically quit watching and went and did something else.

It doesn't take much to set me off! I can't tell you how many times I've seen the series finale for Boy Meets World and I bawl EVERY time I watch it
The new Shamu "Believe" show makes me tear up every time I go to Sea World. Movies, if they are the least bit romantic or sappy, make me cry. Anytime there's a tribute to the military I get all emotional. My dad was in the army for 22 years and my boyfriend recently joined the navy so it really hits close to home. Basically, I cry at anything  :rotfl:
