If my 9 year old wanted a stroller, he'd spend his trip at Disney Daycare.
I agree. My son was about my size when he was 11. He should have been pushing me around. This topic comes up all the time. It depends on the height and weight of the kid and the parent's desire to push a stroller. My kids are tiny and so am I.

Yep. I know what t stands for. And my kids could wear certain clothes in toddler sizes until high school and fit in a stroller. But that doesn't mean that they did.Wow, you are tiny to wear the same 3T (t as in toddler) undies. I thought Nic was just small for her age. Turns out that she is just on the smallish size for an adult.
Last year my kids were 7 & 10 and after the 1st day of the kids whining that they were tired, I rented a double stroller for the rest of the trip - it made a world of difference....it was our 1st trip and we wanted to go, go, go and knew the kids would tire out way before DH & I. We did 5X more than we could have without it and it was a great trip. The kids loved sitting in the stroller and we never heard a complaint!
We are going back, kids are now 8 & 11....what's the oldest age your kid was in a disney stroller?
I don't think I need it for AK or DHS, but there is so much walking in Epcot and so much ground to cover in MK it would help....
I really, really think one of the writers for the movie Wall-E reads this board.
My DS is 4 and I tried to convince DW that he does not need one and will want to walk anyway. She won me over by this statement "It's not that he needs one or that I don't want to take breaks or that he'll get tired, it's that he will get trampled by people there & probably multiple times per day and they won't even stop or apologize they'll just keep going on their way". Sadly she is dead right with that one.
I think we each should decide for our own families and not waste time judging other families for their choices.
I'm assuming that's 5th grade, right? A 5th grader in a stroller--I'm sure their classmates would get a kick out of those pictures!

So thanks!
