What's the oddest gift you have ever given?

DH and my mom are getting this in their stockings :

It's a reindeer that poops jellybeans. I thought these were absolutey hysterical. They are both as sick as me and I know they are going to LOVE them!!!

Ha ha!!! I got that for DH about 3 Christmas's ago!!! We both love to hunt, so it was quite appropriate.

We're giving BIL some fake goofy looking teeth as part of his gift this year. He'll totally love it but it definately is the oddest gift I've given.

The oddest gift I ever received came from my youngest brother. I think he was like 7 or so and he found this notepad that read, "things to doo-doo" and came with a plastic realistic looking pile of doo-doo that was a pen holder.

He honestly was trying to find me something that I could use and he thought it would be good for my desk and be funny, too. I ended up taking it to college and the "doo-doo" was used more to play practical jokes than as a pen holder.

I also felt quite awkward receiving a book from my aunt and uncle about "female body changes" when I was like 11 or 12. At that age you want to die when you receive that in front of people.

A frozen fish. It was for a "White Elephant" gift! Went over REAL well!

I had a friend who at one time, paid her bills by being an exotic dancer. I found an insanely cheap knockoff Barbie type doll that actually resembled her to some degree, dressed only in a black teddy. (The doll, not me!) For a couple of weeks, I had fun and made a tiny black whip, from string and twist ties from the grocery store. Cheap bits of chain were added as adornments...Electrical tape came into play for boots. I think I even found a hat for the doll....I had fun with the thing!

But the best was when I was again at the grocery store. And, I found this oddly shaped yam. It looked like a big seal, compared to the doll...I still wish I'd taken a picture of it....

So, I gave my friend a dominatrix doll riding a yam.

Several years ago, my friends and I made a movie entitled "Dream Date with Jose" where he main character is a SNL-type continental man. Well, we decided to give him his very own action figure made out of a Ken doll that we painted and dressed and gave glasses to so that it looked exactly like him. It really was an incredible likeness. We even doctored the box so that it went with our theme and said Jose instead of Ken.

That same christmas we gave him a Hare-Krishna (sp?) Ken. We made him out of that Ken that had long hair. We shaved him and left only a little ponytail. We made a white underdress looking thing and a peach wrap around thing and gave it a little bunch of flowers. We again doctored up the box and even included a hare-krishna version of you are my sunshine that we made up.

we had a LOT of time on our hands.

This year another friend asked us to get him a magnet when we went to alaska...he's getting a magnet made out of poo (moose poo to be exact) and it has eyes!!!

The oddest gift I've ever gotten is a can of olives. It was wrapped.

Ash from the St. Helens volcano explosion. I had a friend who lived in the area go gather some up and ship it in a baggie. Then, I poured it into a glass container and had it labeled for DH who is fascinated by nature stuff.

Can you believe it--it turned out to be a duplicate! Another family member also gave him St. Helen's ash that year.

LOL - I put those in the kids stockings last year and it was a riot!! They laughed their butts off and tried offering everyone some reindeer poop!

This year the kids are getting a pooper scooper under the tree with a big red bow on it. I am tired of hearing how they would help clean up the yard if only they had a pooper scooper. - LOL Well now there will be no excuses - LOL
