What's the most valuable thing you own?

I know this isn't true :ssst: :D

I own a Disney collectible pin set that is worth way more than my engagement ring. And would be worth more if I broke it up to sell individually instead of as a set. But ask again in 20 years, and it will probably be worthless.

Lol. Ok. But which pin?! Wait, do you have the 2011 DPs?!

I was just joking this year it's our disney christmas tree. Past 7 years we buy about 200 bucks in ornaments each year..I own most of those heavy themed ear ones that run 24,99 each.. I was actually thinking this might be an inheritance rift between the kids one day. thought resale I wouldnt get that back. each time I look at that tree I think we have to be reaching 1000s soon...

My instruments. I have about $75k in musical instruments. My bass clarinet by itself is worth about $13k alone.

My engagement/wedding rings

My bionic leg. Sadly, it has no resale value... the actual cost of the titanium rod is probably cheap but the cost to get it in there was a doozy. :scared:

I have a lot of Disney pins, some are worth more than I paid. I don't think any are going to pay for my retirement. Maybe as a whole they would make a nice vacation.

My son's skull. He had to have an inch-wide strip of his skull removed front to back and his forehead reconstructed with titanium due to a condition he was born with. That 5-day hospital stay was around $300,000 15 years ago, not to mention the multitude of specialist appointments, CT scans, xrays, etc. in the 6 weeks leading up to the surgery. Thank goodness for great insurance.

Other than that, probably engagement/wedding rings or my husband's honeybees. (I know that sounds dumb, but some people pay a lot of money for queens or nuc colonies).

I have a violin that was made in 1830. I am not sure how much it is worth but a shop I took it to said to insure it for about 4k about 20 years ago.

DVC, Hubby's watch, Engagement/wedding set, mine and my mother in law's. My father law's engagement ring/hubby's and some other pieces of jewelry come to mind (mine and what was passed on to me from my mother in law and mom).
