What's the most times at any 1 DVC resort?

I was wondering what the most number of times anyone has stayed at a particular DVC resort. For example, maybe you "always" stay at BCV, but you've only been twice so far. On the other hand, someone who stays at different resorts has stayed at BCV 3 times, because they've been so many times! I wonder how many times you can stay at the same resort before you want to try somewhere else (or does it really feel like a "second home"?)

We bought in '93 and have been to OKW every year since, never been anywhere else on property.. we just love OKW..

We bought OKW in 1992 and have stayed their 2 to 3 times per year ever since then.

We bought BWV about 5 years ago and have only stayed there for a DVC property...and can't think about changing I love it too much...

My vote was for 10+ at BWV, but to be perfectly honest I have no idea how many times we have stayed there but it is way, way more than 10. However although BWV is our favorite DVC resort and the one we stay at the majority of the times, we also enjoy staying at some of the others and also love staying at non DVC WDW resorts. So I can't say we got tired of staying at one resort because we love it as much now as we did the day I signed on the palm trees and Mickey heads! But we have always and probably always will enjoy staying at many WDW resorts with BWV being the resort that we average the greatest number of days at per year.

We've been members for 11 months. Haven't enjoyed a DVC vacation yet, but have 2 planned (HH & BWV).

Since we joined in 1999 we have stayed at OKW over 10 times. But we have also stayed at HH and VB.

Well, if you're boring, so are we! The reason I posted this question is that, although we've only been members for 2 years, DH is sure that he'll want all our visits to WDW to be OKW. Responses so far indicate that it's OK to stay at the same resort year after year.

What do you mean "responses indicate it is OK to stay at the same resort year after year"???????? They are your pts and you can do whatever you want with them, you certainly do not need the permission or sanction from a bunch of strangers on the internet to tell you this!!!! If staying at one resort for all your WDW trips is what makes you and DH happy then that is what you should do. We like to stay the majority of trips at BWV but then also enjoy staying at many other WDW resorts for a few days here and there or even making another DVC resort the main resort for a trip here or there. But that is us and what makes us happy. You have to do what makes your family happy and in all reality, what others like has no bearing on what is going to make your vacation enjoyable or miserable.

At least 4 or more times at each DVC resort (except SSR of course).
But OKW the most with more than 20 times.

I recently posted this information on another thread and it seems appropriate here as well.

OKW 30 plus vacations for a total of 159 days.
BCV 1 vacation for 5 days.
VWL 1 vacation for 4 days (2 days before and 2 days after a cruise).
VB 1 vacation for 3 days.
BWV 1 vacation for 2 days.
SSR soon I hope.
HH someday.

We very much like to experience new resorts as they become available but always go back to OKW.

In our case OKW is our true second home. We treat OKW much like our friends and familty treat their second homes on lakes in upstate Maine. I can't for one minute imagine changing the way we use or points.

We have only been DVC members since 2002 and have stayed at VWL twice and BWV once. However, we did stay at WL 3 times prior to joining so it feels like we have gone "home" more often than twice!!

Our second trip to BWV will be this summer. After that, we're looking forward to sampling other DVC resorts.

One part of me would stay at VWL every trip until the contract or I expire. Another part wants to see all the DVC resorts, and seems to be winning!

We have only been members for a year, and we have stayed at BWV twice (also at BCV, OKW and VWL once each).

But my next 3 trips are all at BWV (at least part of each trip anyway).

everyone has their own ideas of fun, and ours seems to be experiencing as many of the resorts as we can. we've been members since fall 1998, (bought at hilton head), and have only repeated resorts once since then, unless you count cruise, four day on the magic, then seven day the next year. but we spent a week at HH in 98, DC four day and OKW five nights in 99, DC seven day in 00, VWL five nights in 01, and OKW six nights in 03.

just wondering how much others use non-DVC resorts. we have used Big Cedar Lodge in MO twice on pts. for a non-Disney prop this is pretty close to the same experience.

We have stayed at OKW since 92 at least once a year, now that we are retired we visit about 4 times a year, just can't switch!!! We talk about staying at other DVC's but don't have the nerve to make the call! We are OKW crazy, don't want to be disappointed at another DVC resort. To make things worse, we purchased points at the BCV, but have yet to stay there!!!

Ours is like this...

OKW 3
BWV 2
BCV 1

We choose BWV this time because of location. But if DH was making the ressie the OKW # would be one larger! I love it too, maybe next year!
