What's the most romantic thing you've done at Disney?

we just got back from disney last saturday and on our second day there, i returned from a long day at the parks to a mickey and minnie true romance package. there were rose petals leading from the door to the bed where they had made a heart out of rose petals. there were a dozen roses in a vase on the night stand. there was a spa pack for 2 and a signed pic of mickey and minnie. tinker bell was glowing from the curtains and there were electric candles around the room. he also added on a bottle of champagne and some mickey champagne glasses. it was wonderful!! i know that he got it from the disney florist and then they come set it up in your room. i would highly recommend it

What a wonderful guy!!!!!! Sooo romantic!

We did the photopass photoshhot at the Grand Floridian. The photographer we had was great. It was like a mini wedding photoshoot. We had beautiful pictures on the beach. After that, we had a nice dinner at Narcoossee's and enjoyed a glass of wine at our table while we watched the fireworks. It was a perfect night.

I know I am strange but one of the most romantic things we did was ride one of the last Dumbo rides of the night. The castle was changing color and it was just the 2 of us up in the air.

Wow, these are all great suggestions. I'm convinced that DH and I should go to WDW too! Is there anything romantic at the Animal Kingdom?

Well....We think it can be....We went to the Tea Shop on the path from Asia to Africa....went to sit at the little overlook right before Harambe, and my now DH waited until the people taking a pic left and proposed! We go and visit "our bench" every time now. It overlooks the Discovery River and there is a beautiful view of The Tree of Life.

Have a Magical Trip!

Let's see, DH and I just got back from our honeymoon at CBR this June...

- we totally did the spaghetti thing at Tony's like someone else mentioned upthread (glad to see someone else is as cheesy as we are!)

- more cheesy-ness...wore the bride/groom Mickey ears - nothing like looking silly in public together!

- sharing an ice-cream cone at 3am after MK EMH on our last night, just watching the castle change colors and drawing out every last bit of magic before we had to leave the next morning.

I must be strange too :) because I think that sounds super cute! Just classic Disney with you and your 'one and only' all tucked in to a little flying elephant...90 perfect seconds if you ask me!

Bethany...is that YOUR cake in your Avatar?----If so, it looks like your reception was on the Commander's Terrace at GF, just like ours!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Haven't yet done the most romantic thing. Hope that each time I go with my sweetie I find something more romantic and loving to do.

First Post, Woohoo!!

OK, this is an easy one. My wife and I got engaged on the Grand 1 yacht. We boarded at the Grand Floridian marina and spent an hour cruising around Bay Lake. The staff was great. There were a dozen roses, champagne, chocolate truffles. Also, what Disney engagement would be complete without an engraved glass slipper, engagement pins and wedding ears. My wife never saw it coming. The staff was also nice enough to take a bunch of pictures while I was proposing on the bow. The captain docked us at the MK and we had dinner at the Castle. Our reservation was just as the park was closing. After dinner, we strolled down a completely empty Main St. My desciption just can't do this whole experience any justice. It was amazing and it's something that we will never forget.

On our visit in September, while we were sitting on "our" bench by the water next to the Rose and Crown Pub late night (no one else around!), my husband of 26 years handed me an envelope "To the Love of my Life." Inside were tickets to the Bruce Springsteen concert that we will go to prior to our next Disney trip. He stated he had to do something fun to get us through til our 10/22/09 trip!!!! Gotta love him!!!

My bf and I caught the monorail over to The Poly Resort ( even though we weren't guests it was ok) we grabbed some food from Captian Cooks and headed over to the beach where we pulled up beach chairs and watched the Wishes fireworks over Magic Kingdom. They even pipped in the music. It was out most romantic moment EVER ! Just make sure you time it right.

DH and I took a 3 day trip in September to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary. We got to MK just after opening and they were playing waltz music so my husband twirled me around as we were walking towards the castle. I thought that was very romantic and I felt like a princess: A CM even applauded us. :goodvibes

I have to say that I LOVED our trip without the kids. I didn't have to focus on what they wanted to do and to make sure they say everything; this trip was just about us with no rushing. :lovestruc

Without a doubt, the most romantic moment I ever enjoyed at WDW was the night that I got down on one-knee to propose to my then DGF, and she said yes. Unfortunately, she would later change her mind and called off the engagement.

Even though she changed her mind, I still believe WDW is a great place to enjoy many romantic moments. And someday I will meet a princess: who will share my love of romance at Disney.

Wishes from the observation deck at Cali Grille.

Walking onto an empty Space Mountain during MNSSHP, with my DH an he just turned to me and said " I am so happy to be at the most magical place on earth" and dip kissed me. A family with little kids were walking on the ride right then, saw us, and litterally did the " wooo hoooo " noise that they did when Kelly and Zach kissed on Saved by the Bell. It was hysterical, and magical, and romantic all at the same time.

Awwwwwww is all I can say here. How utterly romantic. I am so sorry it didn't work out for you and her. Dave, your princess is out there and waiting on you somewhere. Just when you least expect it.............tossing pixie dust your direction.

From a Magical Anniversary Trip....2 years since we tied the knot at the Wedding Pavilion.

We took 8 friends with us.....put the whole gang in a Grand Villa in Old Key West and it was terrific.

Full of Romance for everyone! They enjoyed Food and Wine. We all had "couple" time.

Eating/Drinking around the World....an Illuminations cruise....Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon...the Pool....Photo Scavenger Hunts in all four Parks, battling the couples against each other....for a bit of teamwork.

We are in our 40's, most are in their late 50's, early 60's...

Thanks DDM. I'm sure when the time is right I will find my princess:. Although right now, she and I may be in different parts of the country, and not know it yet.. We may have to :car: to WDW for our dates.
