Is Woody's Lunch Box seating still a mess?

I know over the last few years Disney was trying to fix the seating problem at Woody's Lunch Box, but it was still a mess when we went this past March. I thought I read that the additional seating is now open. Is this true??

I'm taking my adult daughter in November and since she is vegan, I thought I'd take her there to try the plant based Totchos.

I haven't eaten at Woody's in the last few years because of the lack of seating and congestion just trying to get your food. Is it still bad?

We ate there over the weekend and did not have trouble getting a table; it's the first time we've ever sat down for a meal there as opposed to grabbing and going.

It's not hard at this point. They have cast members making sure you pick up your food before finding a seat, and there were seats available the past few times I've been.

How is the seating now - more seats in the shade than before? Even in winter we’ve found it too hot to eat in the bright sun on a warm day.

We've been once a year since it's been open...I think. We usually do QS meals and snacks at off hour times. It always looks like a mad dash, but we've always been able to get a seat.

I was there on Thurs. 9/25 and it was still a mess, so YMMV. There was no one making sure you got food there before sitting. I would say that probably half the tables there were people just taking a break, chilling and hanging out. It was annoying for people getting food there looking for a seat. When I finally found one, it started down pouring rain and all of Toy Story Land was squeezing in under the overhangs. I shared my table with a nice family and we were all eating lunch amongst everyone's backsides. Lol, you just have to laugh~ so that was my story.
I can't blame people, there really is nowhere to sit in the shade and take a break.... I really wish they would add more places to do in the parks.

Yikes! That is not good news that they are making sure you are ordering food or picking up a mobile order...

My plan is to possibly try to go during an "off" time and hope for the best...
