120m on Space Mountain :O Then when we got back to the cue it was virtually gone

I waited about 90 minutes for Soarin. We only had a about 3 days and that included an afternoon the day we arrived at Epcot. It was my friends first trip and most likely her last (She had a good time but her family isnt much into disney). So it was do or die.

3 hours for Soarin'...it was the new ride and everyone made it sound like it was an amazing ride...we definitely were not impressed

Taking advntage of the Fast Passes , You should NEVER have to wait more than 10 - 15 minutes for Anything , anymore . if i have to ill wait a little longer for Splash , Big Thunder , Space , Everest , Soarin,Tower of terror Or Rockin Coaster, But thats ONLY when Fastpasses are Gone :thumbsup2

We go with Tour Guide Mike and we never had to wait more than 10 on a ride if that
He is very good he knows what day to go to what park and what pattern to ride the rides, and it relly works

Waiting 10 min or less for all attractions mid summer not doable.

I'm a fan of Tour Guide Mike, but he is unable to perform miracles (he's Tour Guide Mike, not Tour Guide Jesus). Unless you are a celebrity getting backstage entrance, you will wait longer than 10 min mid summer.

I'm sure it is possible to wait 10 min or less during sometimes during the year, but unfortunately some folks are forced to tour exclusively in summer or other peak periods.

So while in your experience with TGM you experienced very minimal waits, it is just not realistic to expect those kind of results year round.

Just for fun.... here is the queue for 20,000 leagues circa 1980.

Ack! That brings back nightmares from my childhood! :scared:  No really, my grandparents took me to Disney when I was 8 and I remember that horrific line for that super boring ride. (Ok, I know for a lot of people that's blasphemy, but I was 8, people!) Sadly, that insane 20K Leagues line is the clearest memory I have of that trip. I seem to recall the longest lines I ever stood in being that childhood trip, about 2 hours for Space Mountain. (Yay for uncles who told the boring grammas to shove it, let the kid ride something fun! When you're 8, Hall of Presidents is not fun, it's creepy.)

During these grown up persons trips, the longest lines I've dealt with was a 2 hour wait to get on the bus back to the resort from MK. :sad2: Followed by the 90 minute wait in line with DD for Ariel's Grotto. I still question the logic that we were waiting in lines longer for a character greet than the rides, but she was determined to see Ariel.

Back in 1983, I waited in line for 90 min for Space Mountain.

On our last trip two years ago, the longest wait was 10min.

over christmas the ride for soran was up to 4.5 hours!!! I couldn't believe waiting that long.

I believe Soarin has the LONGEST line in the world !!! :scared: and one that DRAGS on ... i wont wait for most rides if there over the 60 minute mark as a rule, but for Soarin' thats accually a Short line so i MAY make an exception there Splash Mounain can get Long too and FAST ive gotten on it and pretty much walked on At opening An hour Later it was 90 Minutes already , thank god for EMH thats all i gotta say , same thing for Kilamanjaro Safari :cool2:

I've waited about 30-40 minutes for Pirates on a busy day before (or at least that's what was posted- I didn't time it out). I rarely recall waiting longer than that; unless you count Hulk at Universal. My friend and I stuck it out for an hour and a half. Long lines don't bother me much!

The longest I waited was probably between 90-120 minutes for ToT not long after it opened. The line was INSANE. In fact, a group of girls tried to cut the line saying that they were trying to find their "parents." Well a person in the line with us went ballistic on these girls and the whole line cheered when they retreated to the end of the line.

About 20 minutes. Hooray for the off-season and fastpass! :thumbsup2

That is for WDW, however. The longest time I ever waited in line for a Disney ride was at Disneyland when Indiana Jones first opened. The line extended all the way out to Main Street, and it was probably a three hour wait. The WORST part is that after waiting all that time, after we FINALLY get to the loading area my MOM decides that the ride might be too rough for my back (I have scoliosis) and makes me sit it out with my dad. I had to walk ACROSS the jeep and out the other side, after waiting for three hours. So SHE goes to ride it and of course comes out all smiles and says, "Oh it wasn't so bad. You could do it." :furious:

Of course I've had many rides on Indy since then, but I still get mad whenever I think about that, LOL. I'll never let my mom forget it.

We were in line for the 2001 opening day line at California Adventure for SOARIN! The line was over two hours long but worth every minute. We knew that day that someday they would add this attraction to WDW and that it was one of the best if not THE BEST Disney attraction experience ever!

IT IS THE REASON THAT IF YOU ARE VISITING EPCOT FOR THE FIRST TIME IS IS A DNM (DO NOT MISS) EXPERIENCE!

We dont wait in lines longer than 30-40 minutes. If the wait times are longer we use the fast pass machine.

longest line......for DD's first haircut at the barbershop at MK!! Was worth it!!

Everyone has Line Story . What gets Me is the ones that say " I cant believe theres lines here" .. What do you expect? Its Disneyworld Theres ALWAYS going to be lines , Personally I think for the most part Disney does a GREAT job With line Management , and I Dont mind the waits here , you should see those Other Parks :scared1:

THe longest line I ever waited in was way before fastpass and right when the Indiana Jones ride opened in DLR. I waited for almost 4 hours to ride that ride! I can't believe we spent almost half of our day in line!!

Me too! But we waited close to three hours instead of four. We were there the summer it opened and just had to ride :sad2: . But the park was packed, we even waited two hours to ride HM. Now that's sad too.
