What's the longest line you'll get on?

My family has been to WDW numerous times, and we usually go in January or October when the crowds are low. Since we go often, and at low season, we're "spoiled' when it comes to waiting and crowds. I'm also not the world's most patient person, and have gotten into the habit of "15 minutes or forget it"...

Even then there are very few rides I will wait 15 minutes for. Here's a short list:

ToT
TT
RnR
Buzz
Kil Safari
EE (haven't ridden yet, might stretch it a few extra minutes) :)
PWhirl
Splash

So my question to "frequent flyers" - How long will you wait for something you've ridden a dozen or so times in the past?

Steve

Never seems to be a long line at Small World...

We were in Jan and our longest was Soarin. When we got there the FP was for 5 hours later so we just waited in line. The line said 90 min but we waited only 30. Sometiems you can't count on what it says. Thunder mountain seems like ti takes a bit. Thans line really wraps around on the inside.

Our kids still use a stroller so when we enter a park in the am I run ahead and get a fp for the ride we want and the hub gets the kids situated in the stroller and meets us there. We ussally cna get right on with a fp.

I will probably wait any time. I've been in January, March, April, and July.

But the longest lines I have seen or experienced are as followed (though I haven't seen them this long since they have to fast pass):
Space Mountain: 2.5 hours
Peter Pan's Flight: 90 min (and this was when they had a fast pass)
Kali River Rapids: 3 hours 10 min (this was also when they had a fast pass)
Spaceship Earth: 1 hour

There probably are more I just can't think of them right now. I wouldn't probably get in a line if the wait was more than 30 min.

15 minutes?? Wow...

We always go in August and if I see a 15 minute queue, I'm on it! Usually I wont wait 45 minutes or more.

Except for Soarin' I will only wait 20 min. at the most. I too am so spoiled that I will not wait. I only will wait for Soarin' because if we go in the afternoon fast passes will be gone. Seriously we went one time over Christmas break and I am not exagerating when I say that we drove 2 hours up to Disney, walked into MK, saw some of the lines, got icecream on Main Street, and left and drove back down. Everything was a 2 hour wait. We did not want to spend our weekend that way so we figured we would just go home and save the expense of food etc. to just be miserable.

If the sign says 40 or under, I most likely will get in line. Most lines don't take nearly that long to get through.

My kids did get kind of spoiled last year, if a sign said 10 minutes or more, they were rolling their eyes and discussing if they should wait in line. But we still followed my rule, if it says under 40 we're on it.

Our longest actual wait out of all 4 theme park and 2 water parks?

10 minutes for Dumbo
7 minutes for the single rider line of the charilift at BB.

Everything else, that we went on, was under 6 minutes.

I'm a 20-minutes-or-less girl. With fastpasses, EMH, and enough trips under my belt to know when to hit which rides, I just can't see waiting any longer. Life is too short to spend hours waiting in line. :)

I was used to going in April during school vacation when I was younger and waiting in long lines.

Last time I went in September and never waited more than a couple of minutes.

Because of that, the next time I go (May 17 2007), I will not wait in a line longer than probably 20 minutes or so.

I have no problem planning carefully for the next year, getting to the parks early when neccessary, using FP, and hoping for a little luck with crowds. In the past, I've found that going to the lines with the longest waits as soon as the park opens is a good way to avoid long lines. For example, when I go to Epcot, I'll get there before the park opens, head straight for Soarin when it opens, then to TT, skip Mission Space (we don't like it) and that kind of takes care of the super-long line rides at Epcot.

Sorry for the long answer, I'm starting to get anxious to go and I have almost a year to wait.

25 mins standby is the longest we ever wait for a good ride. 15 for an average ride. Our excuse is "we can do this any other day".

I got 2-3 times a year so I don't want to wait for anything :rotfl2:
The longest I have waited recently was 30 minutes during EMH for Soarin' and that's about the longest I'll wait for anything anymore. Unless I've got a newbie coming w/me like for my upcoming trip in Oct. If DBF really wants to wait for something, I will.

And "never" is how long I usually wait for it's a small world...'cause I try to avoid it as much as possible.... :rotfl: However, I did make an exception for small world at Disneyland at Christmastime--the ride was decorated for the holidays and it's so pretty, that it was actually tolerable (and the wait was maybe 10 min.)

I have become a line snob--nothing over 20 minutes. And we go during peak times--Christmas, summer. But with UG/touring plans, EMH and Fastpasses, there's really no need to wait longer than 20 minutes.

20 minutes. Unless it's for Soarin and I already have a fast pass. Then I'll wait 30. More than that, I find something else to do. Even if it's just people watch. But I only live an hour away, so I'm spoiled.

20 minutes is the max I'll wait. We use FP and tend to go early to the parks.

Until I saw the look on DD face when we rode it for the first time! Now I can't wait to ride it again. I spend the whole ride watching her.

Line Snob- I like that and I think it's what I was going for. As you "learn" Disney, it becomes a lot easier to manage, but you have to be willing to walk away...

Steve

15 WDW trips
4 DL trips

Something like 3 months of my life in the parks so far! Working on a making it a year before I die!

The longest we have waited is 45 minutes for Peter pan back in 2003 because it was our last day and DD 3 really wanted to ride it again. I don't plan on more then 20 minutes for any ride or attraction this trip because we have DS now and he is almost 2 and very impatient. DD who is 6 now was no problem at Disney, she knew she had to wait sometimes.

The longest I have ever waited was for Soarin... 2 hours! We couldnt get FP so we had to wait or we never would have gotten on. It was worht it thoguh  . I dont think Ive ever waited anywhere near that long for anything else though.
