Have you gone back or tried other resorts instead?

Our first was All Stars Music. We had a great time there but got hooked on the SwanDolphin (thanks to the teacher's rate;) )

My first was CBR several years ago. We did go back and enjoyed it very much, but I think we're going to sample the other resorts as well!

My first was the Tree House Villas and then the Fairway Villas (anyone remember those?) back when I was a kid and my folks were footing the bill.
As an adult, I then stayed at Port Orleans, then Dixie Landings (now called PO-French Quarter and PO-Riverside).
Then we tried Wilderness Lodge.
Then on to the CBR.
And then All Star Sports.
And then we tried out Coronado Springs.
Then we tried All Star Music. Not a huge fan of of those All Star places to tell the truth.
Then we returned to Port Orleans- Riverside.
And next, this October, we're staying at the Boardwalk Inn.

Yikes!

My first resort was Fort Wilderness. As a family, we went every year when I was a child. After many years, we tried the CR. Soon after, we started trying all of the other hotels untill we did them all. Now that I'm married, DW and I are on the same quest. We started with FW, just like I did when I was a kid (it was her first trip) and we've now made it to all of the deluxes...I may never see the moderates or Values, she feels perfectly at home in the hotels she has already done, and is bugging me to go back to her favorites.

My first was the Polynesian in 1973 when I was 3!:earsgirl:

We stayed at the Poly again when I was 16. I'll be leaving soon for my first trip as an adult, and while I would like to stay somewhere a little "nicer", I have us booked at ASMo with a request for a Dalmatian building. MY 4 yr old dd will freak out to be staying there!:Pinkbounc

My first stay was at the Contemporary - at that time there was the Poly, CR, and the Disney Inn and MK - that was it!

I have gone back to the CR several times as well as POR (then known as DL), POFQ (several stays), BWI, ASSp and just recently Dolphin and soon at the Swan

Boardwalk Inn-1/2002-Totally Magical! 5th floor facing the gardens and Spaceship Earth. We could hear some of the music from Illuminations and see the fireworks. If we leaned to the left on the balcony we could see the fireworks from Fantasmic. Great pool. We loved the water slide but would like it to have later hours. The midway games on the Boardwalk were rather lenient (they had to be if I could win a stuffed animal). The wonderful resort decor, Epcot, ESPN (food and gameroom), tiramisu at the Bakery Window... the best!

:)

All Stars Music-Quickie trip- 9/2002. Although the room was not as spacious it was adequate and did not detract from the trip. I liked the decor. We did however hang out at the piano pool in the late evening instead of the room. That was very pleasant. The bus service was very good. A couple of bargains in the gift shop (Brushed chrome initial key chains with characters- 5.95, great gifts).

3/2004- I'm going to split AKL and Dolphin. The gov't rate price was right but I could only get three days at the end of my 6 night stay so I'll satisfy my curosity about AKL (didn't make the AKL ressie yet though, hoping for a code or some other discount)

Our first trip to WDW was our honeymoon 10 years ago.
We stayed at the Grand Floridian. We promised ourselves that we would stay there again for out 10th anniversary. We have gone every year since staying at different hotels.
We leave this Thursday for our 10th trip to celebrate our 10th annivesarry at the Grand Floridian :)

The CR when I was 3!! Haven't been back in a while and at this point is not one of my favorites. POR was it for a while, then WL, now we are hooked on AKL...I guess we like to mix it up a bit!

First WDW resort stay was at GF in Dec., 1992. Have stayed at GF 8 times, WL(15), AKL(2), BWI(1), DL(1) and Poly(1).

On our first visit to WDW we stayed at All-Star Music. Since then we have stayed at All Stars many times and Port Orleans once. We are hoping to stay at CB & WL on our next visit, if we get AP discounts.

October 1992 - Dixie Landings, the Magnolia side. I loved Dixie Landings!

Also been to CBR, Dixie Landings Bayou side(many times), YC - for my 1st anniversary -my all time favorite!, YC for birthday yrs later, BW, ASMu.

Also had the pleasure of staying in DVC Villas at Vero Beach and Hilton Head, one night after the other. We were moving from FL to NC and DH's new job was paying for accomodations, so what the hey - 5 people in a 1 br villa. That was alot of fun!

In 2 wks we will be at Ft.W cabins for the very first time. The kids are really looking forward to it.

Contemporary in 1977(age 5)
We then went to, Golf Resort in 82 and the Poly in 86(when I fell in love with it).

As an adult...
Poly for honeymoon 95
Dixie Landings 98
Dixie Landings 00
ASMO & Poly 01
Poly(1 night) 02
ASMO & Poly 02

We are booked at ASMO for August, and December, but we are hoping to upgrade for some of our Dec trip to either BW or Poly.

First was AKL last year and loved it!!! Decided to try something different this year and went to the WL. Liked it a lot but loved the theme and animals of ALK more. Now trying to decide which one to try next..haha

Although we went to Florida every year as a child, my father never figured out that whole Disney thing. He still hasn't figured it out, but I stopped trying to explain it to him! Our first resort was the All Stars, and I have to say although my tastes have changed over the years, that first visit staying on Disney property will always be a great memory for our family!

My new favorite is the Swan, although my little girl is now 17, even she felt like a princess in that heavenly bed! Our view was fantastic! I've had to trade tiaras for my grown up dd princess for Mickey sorcerer hats and squirt bottles for my ds, but every trip to Disney is a trip well spent. My dad missed some magic moments avoiding Disney with us! I can't wait to finally drag him to Disney!

First resort was Poly for our honeymoon, on the deluxe plan (what it was called at that time with a gold key card). We had a blast...haven't been back since.

We have now stayed at All Star Sports, numerous times, the Yacht Club, Boardwalk Inn (more than once) , Boardwalk Villas (numerous times), Wilderness Lodge, The Dolphin (numerous times), Animal Kingdom Lodge, Fort Wilderness Campground, Fort Wilderness Cabins( many times) , Contemporary resort (more than once), Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans Riverside, Coronado Springs.

Our favorites are the Dolphin, AKL, BWV and ASSports.

My first resort on Disney property was the Beach Club :D . We loved it!! We have been back to try it again and have branched out to others. But we seems to stick to the Epcot resorts.

Caribbean Beach Resort in 1989! It was so new and so different (and so cheap at the regular season rate of $69 a night--that was full price, no discounts back then.)
