Might look at doing breakfast at Tusker House on my Jan. trip. AK will open at 9:00 on the day I go, so what would the first seating be? 8:00 a.m.? And do they do it like the early breakfasts at the other park? Like would they keep you in the restaurant/area until rope drop? TIA

I'm pretty sure it is 8:00 also, and it being a buffet it is really quick. We actually had 10:10 am reservations in January, and were trying to get there early to do KS before breakfast. I guess we were too excited, and got to the park a few minutes before 8:15. We decided to try to eat earlier, and they actually let us into the park since we had ADR's, with the warning that we had to go straight to the restaurant, no other loitering. Not a problem, we were seated about minutes after checking in, and out by about 9:15 to 9:30. It was nice to just get it our of the way, and not have to rush back.

We also did that at DHS one morning; had 8:45 resevations at H&V, and got there about 8:00, and got in quickly, and were out about 9:15. It really is much less crowded the earlier you go, and much more enjoyable.

What about what happens after you eat? Since the park doesn't open until 9:00, do they do like they do at MK, and put up the rope to keep you in a certain spot until the park "officially" opens? I just think it would be pretty cool to be right there at the Safari as soon as the park opens and jump on at 9:00.

Yes, there are ropes seperating you from the attractions. We had an early ADR at TH and a CM walked us to the resturant.

I have an 8:00 am for November. I would think that's the earliest, I've never heard of a park restaurant opening more than an hour before the park does. I don't think they open before 8:00 even for EMH mornings.

They won't let you out of the area where the restaurant is, but it is close to the safari.

If you have an 8 am ADR, where do you go to enter the park since it will not yet be open?

Is there a specific turnstile?

I remember doing this one year an having trouble finding the way in as it was an AM EMH an there were very long lines

There is a very clearly marked turnstile all the way to the right...There is a sign with a CM checking your name and ADR #...You should have no trouble finding it :)

What time did you leave the restaurant? We have an 8:05 ADR & I'm hoping to be at the rope, on our way to EE, at park opening.

We have done the 8:05 seating a few times...We were always done in time to take a quick bathroom run before leaving and we had plenty of time to be at the rope we wanted to be at ;)

True that they do not let you walk right up to the safari and the area is very close to the ride...VERY CLOSE...You can toss a stone at it from where you will be ::yes::
