What's the difference between onsite hotels and offsite?

When we walked back to the Cheyenne it took us just as long as getting the bus to the dream castle

Lilacgems............we are staying at the dream castle in june........any rooms you can recommend or they all just as nice. A nice view would be nice...

from having a glance when housekeeping left the door open all the rooms looked the same as ours so very nice

Is it possible to walk to the parks from any of the offsite hotels? (This would be for adults happy to walk for 20-30 minutes)

Yes, we nearly always walk back to the Explorers. If you go through the Village and walk along the canal coming out by the Santa Fe garage it's a much nicer walk than the bus route is. We've often walked to the parks too when it's been EMH and there's not been a bus due. We've done it in 25 minutes but it's probably best to allow 30.
