What's the deal with POP?

Hiya everyone!
I'm planning our first ever trip (Jan 24-28) to WDW with a 4 year-old, 3 year-old and a 9 month-old in tow. I booked our reservation at All-Stars Movies, on the reccomendation of the Disney booking lady (perhaps she had a motive for putting us there?) but after reading here on the boards, it seems like POP gets all the love. So what's the deal, should I switch? Which place would be best for a family with lots-o-little ones? Is one closer in? More fun? Better food? Heeelpppp!

I don't think the booking lady had any motive as the resorts costs the same. POP is more spread out that AS Movies and maybe she was taking that into consideration with your little ones. I am sure you will be fine at AS Movies.

We have stayed at all of the Value Resorts! They're all great! In my personal opinion, your little ones will like Movies the best. They can see all of the characters from all of those Disney movies that they watch!

I would keep the reservation at the "Movies." It is quiet and smaller. I would recommend a "preferred room" as it is closer to the food court and buses. We have stayed in the Toy Story buildings, twice, because my son loves that movie and likes to see Buzz & Woody and sit in RC.

We have stayed at both and they are both great. I think with little ones I would stay at Movies. POP gets more Love because it is newer, I think.

Of the All Stars, I think Movies is the most popular.
As someone stated, I think Pop gets more attention only because it is newer.
I would stay with ASMo. I think you will really like it.
