Not sure if we'll stop on the way from airport or just tour a bit and then when "the men" are sleeping, my Mom & I will go to the supermarket.

Thanks for any help!!

Most likely since it is so close to OKW, Winn Dixie. Follow the signs ot DTD and exit at the crossroads by the DTD hotels. Be in the left lane. Turn left and go straight for about 1.5 or so miles Winn Dixie will be on your right side. They are quite well stocked and to get the best prices you should stop at the service desk and fill out a frequent shopper club account. They carry a good selection of wine and beer as well as "extras" that you might have forgotten from home. If you need other provisions an ABC liquor is right in front and on the way back you'll pass a Walgreens.

Goodings is another option, although they tend to be expensive. Take the same route mentioned in the prior post only go straight when you get to the Crossroads. It is behind McDonalds.

There is a Super Target on Orange Blossom if you want to stop on the way from the airport. Last week we were at POFQ and went to the new Walmart Superstore - 5-10 minutes away. We went out of POFQ and took a left. I believe it is 536. Do a couple of loops and go to 535. Take a right and it was on the right 5 miles or so.

Do you mean to make a left on a road called "The Cross Roads" and then get in the left lane to make another left? I am not sure how to interpret these directions.

Do you possibly know the street names/landmarks?

Thanks :sunny:

Sorry my directions are poor! When you get to Crossroads stay in the left lane at the traffic light leaving DTD hotel area, make a left and drive--move to the right lane once you get the opportunity since the Winn Dixie is on the right. You're goign to pass Sheraton Safari hotel, and Olive Garden.

The name of the road you turn onto to go to Winn Dixie is CR535.

Just past DTD Marketplace (northeast end) on Buena Vista is Hotel Plaza Blvd. The other end of Hotel Plaza Blvd. is at Rte. 535 and the name of the shopping plaza straight across is Crossroads.

Coming out of Hotel Plaza, one block right (south) of Crossroads is I-4. Coming out of H.P. then one block left, take another left (west continuation of 535) and immediately another left into first driveway is a nice Chinese buffet. If you did not take those last two quick lefts, one half block (north) on the right is another nice Chines buffet and a Kinkos where there are computer terminals to check your email or print boarding passes (not at 12:01 AM).

If you turn right out of (either) Port Orleans and take a right when forced to, you will also reach 535, via a road that looks restricted, but by the time you get to the Chinese buffet the distance is somewhat longer.
