whats the cheapest way?

i've only booked one trip before so i'm new to this but what is the cheapest way of booking everything?

and also is the beginning of jan just after xmas finishes worth going for?

Early January is normally a pretty quiet time to visit. You will just need to be prepared for the fact that it could be freezing cold.

Another thing to bear in mind is that they will be starting their 2014 ride refurbishments so you may find that there are a few rides closed during that time. But that's just part and parcel of going during the off-peak seasons!

If you are planning on staying onsite, you will probably be best to book your accomodation directly with Disneyland Paris and then arrange your travel separately.

After visiting during the February half term my advice for going at that time of year is that it really is worth paying the extra to stay at one of the hotels closest to the parks. It was freezing cold and the walk from the parks to the Cheyenne at the end of the day was really not fun (DS ended up wearing his PJ's beneath his trousers and there were lots of kids walking around with wearing blankets!)

I'd happily do that time of year again as it's usually when the best offers are on; for example 4 days for the price of two and under 12's free. But I would have to stay at the New York - hubby has already nixed the idea of staying at the DLH again saying it's not worth the £500 price difference
