Hi, new to boards hope i'm doing this right. What are the chances of the first two nights (9/30, 10/2) of the party being sold out.Trying to decide whether to buy tickets in advance or use "day of" discount with AP ,don't want to be shut out. Thanks.

I think if you have both days to choose from you should be safe. The closer to the end of October is when more are selling out.

We were there last year on the 8th, the first Friday night party and it sold out. The rationale given by the CM's athte desk at the Poly to people checking in without HP tickets was that it was the first Friday night and a lot of thel ocals pick those to go to. If they are during the week I think the chances are probably better, also a lot less crowded too!

The party is becoming more and more popular each year. That being said, I don't think they'll both sell out. However, I would want the piece of mind in knowing I was definetly getting in.

You can get the AP discount if you order now - you just have to pick up the tickets at Will Call instead of having them mailed to you. I also thought the way it was worded meant we'd have to wait until the day of the party to get the discount, but it really means that the discount comes off of the "day of" price and not the advance purchase price.

This is how I read it too. You can order your tickets at the AP rate (selected nights) and pick up at will call and have to show your active AP to get the discount. I believe there will be more information on the passholder site on June 5 and possibility be able to purchase online through the passholder site.

I ordered 7 tickets. I am an A/P holder. They sent me my tickets in the mail. No will call for me.

msmouse, you were one of the lucky ones - some AP holders who ordered right away did get them mailed, but most of us were told we had to pick them up so that we can show them our AP. At least I was told that the MNSSHP tickets can be picked up before the day of the party.
