I would say the last week of October...crowds should be lighter then.

I agree, although you will have a little holiday weekend bump, More people come in for Halloween for sure.

Overall, in October hours and shows are cut back but crowds are very light.

Hello,
Typically WDW is less crowded the first week of Oct in comparison to the last week. Additionally, according to Touring Plans, the 1st week of October will be the week you want to go. There will be a shorter wait time during this time period. Have a great time!

Keep in mind that the Tower of Terror 10 miler is October 5th. I was originally booked Oct 5-12 and backed my trip up a couple weeks into september to save some money.
