What's the best way...

To go from POR to the Boardwalk after the parks close (say about 7pm or so?) and then back to POR around midnight? How late to the busses run? We will not be renting a car so will have to rely on Disney transportation.

Also - do the busses go from park to park (i.e. AK to Epcot) or will we have to stop at a resort?

Because Port Orleans is so close to Downtown Disney, that would make for a decent transfer point. You could take the bus or the boat to the Marketplace, and then board the bus marked BOARDWALK. Make sure to read the sign on the bus itself, as there are some buses that go to Swan, Dolphin, Yacht and Beach, but not the Boardwalk. As I always tell my guests, "If it doesn't say it... it doesn't go there."
