I have an ADR @ 5pm at Old Key West- only TS place I could get on Thanksgiving! lol Waited too long...

Anyway, I was planning on going to AK that day in the AM. Should I just get on the Key West resort bus from AK?

What if I am back at my ASMov resort and want to get to Old Key West? How would I go about doing that?

:confused3 TIA!

It will be crowded on Thanksgiving day and travel will take longer. So, give yourself at least an hour, and take the bus from AK to Old Key West. Going from one resort to another, unless they are "sister" resorts will be a pain. If you are at All Star Movies, I suggest having Bell Services call a cab for you.

To get back to ASMo after dinner, best I can think of is to take a bus from OKW to any theme park, then get on a bus back to ASMo.

If you're done at AK with lots of time to spare before your dinner at OKW, you could take a bus from AK to OKW. From OKW boat dock, take the boat to Downtown Disney and stroll around. As it nears your reservation time, take the same boat back to OKW. Leave time for waiting in line for the boat. (Note: there is no direct bus from AK to DTD.)

If you have already returned to ASMo after visiting AK, take the bus to DHS (closest park). When you arrive at the DHS bus depot, get on the bus to OKW.

For return to ASMo from OKW, I was considering the OKW boat to DTD, then bus service from DTD to your resort. However, Thanksgiving Day might be super-busy at DTD, with long bus waits. So I agree that you should take an OKW bus to Epcot (closer to ASMo - open 'til 9pm) or MK (open 'til 10pm). (DHS is only open 'til 8pm, so I don't recommend taking a bus there.) When you arrive at the park bus depot, get on the bus to your resort.

Have a nice Thanksgiving Day meal.

When going from resort to resort, I always take a cab! It's not cheap, but it's quick and easy.

Thanks for the ideas everyone! I didn't know there was a boat from okw to dtd. :)
