We're planning on going to Epcot tomorrow but have a 5:00 dinner reservation for Hoop De Doo. What is the best way to get over there and how much time will it take?

Bus to Fort Wilderness, then internal bus to HDD. Plan on at least an hour.

You can also do monorail to Contemporary and then boat to FW, but it will most likely take even longer.

I would take the Wilderness Lodge bus from Epcot and then take the boat from WL to Fort Wilderness. The boat will dock at the Settlement Depot which is where Pioneer Hall is located.:)

Wait for WL bus at Epcot....0-20 minutes

Bus to WL....10 minutes

Walk to WL boat dock....5 minutes

Wait for boat....0-15 minutes

Boat to FW....5-10 minutes

Walk to Pioneer Hall....2 minutes

Total travel time....22 minutes to 62 minutes:)

if you are short on time and depending on where you are in epcot.

scenario 1. in world showcase walk over and take a cab from the beach club to fort wilderness

sceanrio 2..from the front of epcot take a cab to fort wilderness..

time 15 minutes

cost $12 to $15

And add the internal bus to the Settlement Depot / Pioneer Hall. The scenario with the boat from WL to Ft. Wilderness is better because the boat dock is right there near Pioneer Hall.

My Guess was Epcot Monorail to MK... then MK Boat to Ft. Wilderness...

(AFTER our HDDR 5p dinner in May... we took Boat from Pioneer Hall to MK...then Bus to Beach Club... )

Is there a bus directly to Fort Wilderness/Pioneer Hall from TTC? We're staying at BLT so if we're here we'll just take the boat from our resort but if we take the Monorail from Epcot I wasn't sure if there was a boat directly from the TTC or if we'd have to get one from MK or the Contemporary.

There is no boat from the TTC. I would take the monorail on to CR, then the boat on over to the Campgrounds. A VERY short walk to the HDDR.

The monorail doesn't go from Epcot to MK does it? Don't you go from Epcot to TTC and then take the resorts/MK monorail to the MK.

I believe the Epcot to WL bus and then take the boat to FW might be the best way.

We gave ourselves 2 hours to get to HDDR from Epcot in '06. We rode the monorail to TTC, then the resort monorail all the way around(just for fun), then the monorail to MK, then the boat to Pioneer Hall. We were over an hour early.

The Magic Kingdom monorail makes stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), the Polynesian Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort, the Magic Kingdom (of course!) and the Contemporary Resort. A second monorail line runs between the Transportation and Ticket Center and Epcot.

Yes - I suppose you would have to switch monorails at TTC to get to MK....
