What's the best way from AllStars to Poly early in am for check-in??

Since we didn't want to pay the extra to just sleep at the Polynesian we booked AllStarSports for our arrival night, 8/15 at 7ish. We would like to get over to Polynesian as early as possible to get our park passes. Any thoughts? I know that AllStars are not as quick as other resorts about getting luggage to you. Perhaps a cab would be best? If so, anyone know the cost? Thanks.

Because you're moving from one Disney resort to another, I beleive Disney will help you out with this, and take you over in a courtesy van. Just speak with Guest Services about this, and they will help you out.

If you dont need your luggage there with you when you check in, you may want to let bell services move it for you, and you can take the character breakfast bus over to the Poly. You can check in, get your passes and take off for a park. Then when you return to the hotel later in the day your room should be ready and your luggage should be there.
We did this(almost) last summer, only DH drove the car with all the luggage, and the other 6 of us hopped on the character breakfast bus(we all wouldnt fit in the car). We checked in, grabbed a bite to eat, and headed to the MK for opening.

If I did that would I be going from AllStars to TTC or to MK? If MK then monorail back to Polynesian and if TTC just hoof it over? That was my original thought but then over-thought it. This is most likely much easier than I'm making it. And no, we wouldn't have to have our luggage with us. Just our fannypacks.

There is a direct bus from All Stars to the Poly due to the character breakfast at Ohana. It may also stop at the MK & Contemporary for their character breakfasts, but you wont have any bus/monrail changing to do. Just be sure to get the character breakfast bus and verify that it is going to the Poly before you get on(one breakfast bus also goes to AK). If I remember right it came around 7:30am.
