What's the best time to get a fastpass plus for FOP?

I'm hearing some say the morning rush is the worse to do FOP. So, some feel now that it's better to get a later afternoon fastpass.

We will be a group of older people and the thought of a wait over two hours is horrifying us.

We are looking forward to doing this ride, but it does seem difficult with the crowd levels. We have some on scooters and this is even more scary for them.

So, is there a better time to do fastpass for FOP?

The fastpass, if you can get them, will allow you to bypass that two hour ride. When your FP window opens, that is the first one you want to get, whenever you can get it. I'm not sure it really matters on the time of day for the FP.

You say some of your group are in scooters, so I assume some mobility issues. You may want to search You Tube or other media to see if they will even be able to ride this attraction. You sit astride, like a motorcycle, and your legs and upper torso are "fastened" into the vehicle.

Shoot for a FP+ late in your stay (day 6 for example). I usually try to do our FP+ early so we can keep pulling them throughout the day after we use the 3rd one.

Get an FP+ for anytime/day that you can. Beggars can't be choosers when it comes to FP+ and this ride.

I agree with what everyone else said - if you are lucky to get a FP for this ride, take it whenever you can get it (you likely will not have much of a choice of times). If you do not get one and some of your party is disabled, please check out the disAbilities forum - and look into the Disability Access Service Card (DAS). If you have a qualifying disability the individual can get the card and it assures that they do not have to wait in the regular line. The CM looks at the current wait time and gives the person with the DAS a return time that corresponds with how long they would have had to wait in line. Then you can wait wherever you want - seated and in the shade! and when your return time arrives, your return time ticket works like a fastpass. Up to 6 others can be linked to the DAS card but the DAS individual has to be riding as well. You get the DAS at guest relations (they are inside of each park but you only have to get them one time for the length of your stay).

If you can get a FP for FoP, the time of day won't matter
Exactly. Maybe you don't understand but if you have a FP you won't have a 2 hour wait so it won't matter what time of day your FP is. Make it for either the time you find or the time that fits your schedule, whichever option works

It seems that a bunch of openings opened up for FOP for the month of November.

I can log into MDE and get pretty much any day I want right now in the month of November.

so everyone, go go go LOL

Well, I went for 9 AM when I wouldn't do a FP+ that early for any other ride.
We will get there about 9, when most of the hordes are already in line for FoP. We will go on NRJ standby, then use our FP for FoP. That is the best time of day to get a low standby wait at NRJ and we want to do both rides.
