The question below inspired me to ask =) In August of last year, I was searching Travelocity and found a water view at CBR for $99!!!!! I couldnt believe me eyes and booked it while I was at work, as I was worried it would be gone by the time I got home.

Upon check in I asked for a king, which we were given. Once we got to our room, our water view was an obstructed view of the pool, so I called and asked to be moved. They said that there are only like 4 waterview kinds in the entire resort, but they would check for me...well they found one and we moved...it was a beautiful end room (loved the extra window), king bed, with water views from both windows and a nice king bed...for 99!!. We stayed for 3 nights and had a blast....the extra room at CBR was really nice =)

Several years ago the Disney ran some AP rates that were good over holiday season. Because of that we were able to book AKL standard view for $109/night , with a December 26 checkin ! During the checkin we were upgraded from standard to Deluxe Savannah view for free ! We were quite happy with our entire stay, and have been back several times since.

This worked out well for Disney, as we are the type that loves the ambiance of the AKL. Enough that when they announced the new DVC property there we added on asap. :goodvibes

WL for $125 night.. WV with BB

WL for $109 per night ($130 with taxes) last year during Labor Day weekend.

Hope to get something close to that again this year for late Sept...:wizard:

$49 a night in 2004 at the values
$79 a night in 2005 at the moderates - checked in and got a water view.

Well for my August trip I could have gotten $64.60 per night, AAA price for ***, however, I wanted deluxe and Epcot, so got the $125 at Swan. . .works for me. . .

In 2003 we got a savannah room at AKL for $150. I was pretty happy with that. that same trip we had a split stay at Contemporary and got that room for $120. The room was bad though. I think it was right before a big remodel.

$59 bucks for 4th of July at POP in 2004.... but I was a Florida resident. Im still suprised it was THAT cheap!

WOW, now thats a deal

We got AKL standard room for 99.00, but got a free upgrade to pool view when we checked in. AKL is now our favorite resort.

Best rate for me would be Dec. 05, we paid $79 a night each for standard AKL for two rooms/connecting. When we checked in we were upgraded to Savanna View. We were on the CM holiday discount.

I get TA rates so usually get great rates, but one year we were booked at POFQ and they closed it down, so we were offered Poly at Mod + $30 per night, so around $145 per night for GV Poly.

In 2003, we did the pay for 4 stay for 7 package. It was $2311 for Poly Garden View Concierge including 7 day park hoppers for 2 adults. That's 330 per night for Poly GVC plus park admission. I've never seen a rate that good again.

June 2001 - Beach Club Standard View for $169 per night. It was my 50th birthday and we got upgraded to Concierge. What a bargain!

I got AKL for $164/nite w/ ap, thought that was pretty good, cause it wa$300 w/o ap, that is for this week. I am more than happy w/ that!!!

Our very first trip in June 2002, we got CBR for $69 a night - we could have gotten WL or AKL for $109 and we thought that was too much - :rotfl2: If we only knew.;)

Also in June 2004 we were able to book the Dolphin on Priceline for $70 a night.

This is the best Fl. Resident rates we've gotten: In the summer of 2001 we got BWI for the unheard of price of $179 a night. We stayed for a week. It was our first stay there and it became our favorite resort.

In 2002 we got AKL for $109 a night. We stayed 5 nights.

I think AKL and WL were $129 a night in 2003. We stayed at WL then.

These are all rates for summer during the deluxe resorts value season.

$169.00 for CR wing room, but got upgraded at check in for free to a Magic Kingdom Tower room. This was in the last week of August 2001.

$49.00 of ASMu for mid December 2001.

We got the GF for $149 a night (GV) in Sept 01, but ended up with MK view upon check-in. That was pretty good.
