What's the best park to travel solo to?

I don't think it matters - it more depends on what you'd like to do. There's so much going on in each of the parks that you'll be easily entertained!

I've done all of the parks solo and loved them all - Epcot, MK, DHS and AK (in that order). Just love that feeling of being able to go/see/do whatever you want and having no one else to worry about is what I love the most. You can take your time doing anything, whether it is shopping, eating or riding a favorite ride as many times as you wish. I'm going in February for 5 nights solo and I plan on doing all 4 parks, but I'll probably visit Epcot, MK and DHS the most.

Animal Kingdom is a great park to visit solo. There are so many things to do, such as going to shows, going shopping, dining in the wonderful restaurants, viewing the animals, ect. The park also has a lot of multi passenger rides (as opposed to the standard two or three passenger rides) so you get to interact with more people in a more intimate environment.
I hope this has been helpful pooh:.

I liked Epcot. I never get to really explore the world showcase because the family gets too bored. I loved spending time looking around. My favorite ride to ride alone on was probably spaceship earth. Just me and the soothing sounds of Judy Dench.

I know what you mean. I could go to sleep in there. Not in a bad way, just because it is so quiet and dark and relaxing.

I'd spend a lot of time exploring the world showcase in Epcot. There's a lot to see and do there that you're not likely to get to do with a group.

I agree with this park.

I am heading out there solo on Jan 3 - Jan 7. Is that the upcoming DW marathon weekend?

The Marathon itself is on Sunday, January 8th. However, there's the 5K on Thursday January 5, the 10K on Friday, 1/6, and the half marathon on Saturday 1/7. Lots of participants are doing all 4 races. Most races start at 4:00 am, so they don't impact the parks much. However, for the half marathon, there'll still be some runners on the road between the MK and Epcot around 10:00 am. And there may be some runners around entrance to Epcot up until 11:00 or so.
