I am not sure if you check your bags or carry on, but by far the best piece of luggage I have ever owned is a Tom Bihn Aeronaut. They are made in Seattle and offer a lifetime guarantee. I read about it on numerous travel sites as being arguably the best max size carry on out there. It is very light, very durable and well though out.

Because of the ridiculous checked bag fees I try to carry everything in my carry on and backpack. Coupled with the Absolute Shoulder Strap that they also sell, it has been a lifesaver...well maybe not a LIFE saver but a back saver.
My wife also has one and she loves it as well. After about 15 or more trips we have taken with them, including 6 to WDW it still looks brand new.
