What's the best discounted rates at GF?

Hi everyone,

We were thinking about changing from GF to CR, right now we're paying $400 p/n (w/out taxes) for a "Lagoon View" (They didn't have anymore Standard views available.

We're hoping for the AP codes to come out and help us alittle bit.
I just check for CR, and for ngts we're staying, it'll be $266 p/n (Standard wing).

Can anyone tell me what the best AP rate they got for GF-Lagoon View? If the codes come out and they don't help much w/ the rate, then I might just stay at CR.

I'm so confused

Last year's AP rates for Value Season:

GF- 199 GV, 239 LV
CR- 229 Tower, I don't know wing rates
Rates are before tax.

The best rate at the GF now is $254 per night plus tax (this is the AP rate I had in July). That works out to be $283 per night. That's for a Garden View. A Lagoon view will run you about ($314 before taxes) $350 per night, including tax, using an AP rate. By the way, AP rates at the GF were very hard to come by if you didn't call as soon as they were released. I had originally booked a Garden View, but about a week later decided I wanted Lagoon View. No availability for my dates, and I continuly called until we left. Nothing.... I didn't even ask at check-in, because I figured there was nothing. Well, my to my suprise, we were upgraded to Lagoon View for free!! So, if you truly are thinking of upgrading, keep checking for AP rates, and as soon as they are released, make your ressies, so you won't be shut out!!

I already book w/ GF. (They only had Lagoon view)...which is ok, but at $446 (tax incld) a night...I'm skeptical that if the codes don't help, I don't think I want to pay full price! ( I know, I'm a cheapo)

The prices you girls gave me were great! Only if I can get it at that rate, w/ the APs...

But my delema (sp?) is, I don't want to wait for the AP codes, then find out it's not going to help me w/ my ressies at GF, then want to switch to CR to find out they're fully booked!

What should I do? Right now, as I calculated, the Tower Conceirge rooms at CR are a few dollars cheaper than our "Lagoon View" at GF!
