We recently returned from a ten day vacation in two Nemo suites (11 people). We had three reservations strung together due to various discounts with various start dates. I started with a bounce back
free dining offer I booked last fall. The earliest date for that offer was August 20, 2014 so I booked five days starting then. Due to when my DIL had to be back here in NY to start teaching we had to leave WDW by August 25th. 5 adults in one suite, 2 adults, two Disney adults (10 and 12) and 2 kids in the other suite. Free dining was definitely a great deal for us.
Next my husband received a PIN for 15% off. Earliest start date was August 17, 2014, so I booked that for three nights before the FD reservation.
Finally I was able to book a two night reservation beginning on August 15, 2014 using an AP discount which I think was only 10%, but hey, that was better than nothing.
I also paid for the entire trip using Disney gift cards I bought at Target or BJs, so saved another 4-5% off. I also used gift cards to pay for our extra reservations such as meals before the dining plan started, tips, Tomorrowland dessert party, deluxe cabana at Typhoon Lagoon, souvenirs, etc. Anything I could save, I tried to do because the trip cost us a fortune!!!
