We will be in a 2bdrm at the beginning of June. Trying to get the best building but not sure which one that might be. Any thoughts would be appreciated...

We were in Bldg 13 in October. It was great! Very convenient to HH and nice, quiet view of golf course and a small pnd with a fountain. I can't speak to "Best", but I know you can't go wrong with this building. Good luck!

The closest I'd say to a "bad" is in the back next to the road. It was a little noisy from traffic.

Depends on what you like. Our favorite is #55 which I doubt is a biggie in terms of requests. It is as far as you can get from the main area. We like it because it is quiet (no buses pass it) and it has a great canal view. Also it's next to a quiet pool.

If I stay in a studio I always ask for "next to a quiet pool" so I cma near a laundry room. Some folks really like the Turtle Pond Pool area and request there.

We like the SouthPoint area too! ( buildings 51-55). The road has never been a problem for us, and we like being at the "quiet" end of the resort and far from the HH. We have done a "take what they give you" attitude, and really have not had a bad one. The worst was probably the building 45 one because it was far from any bus stop and far from any pool. Not as good on view from the patio either.

I agree with previous posts - there really is no bad location.

As for privacy, I like buildings 55 and 56.

Easy access to the HH, try buildings 23, 24, 25, or 26.

Every location has different advantages.

my favorites are 18 and 55 - but they are both close to a quiet pool and have wonderful water views.

It depends upon what you want - water, golf or woods view - that is the biggest thing for me.

then where the location is - near a quiet pool or a bus stop - I don't like to be near HH (it is very busy - so the traffic cars, buses can be worst). Although since OKW does not have a character breakfast anymore I have noticed a drop in traffic in the morning - check in time is still bad!

the most distance places are 10 minute walk from HH - so it is not far and the buses go by there often.

I preferred the quiet pools - less people so you can actually swim! If you have kids there is an arcade a the Turtle Shack, plus a bike rental, a snack bar (no hamburgers) - all quiet pools have a playground, picinic tables and grills.

See, that's the best part about DVC units. We actually like Building 45 for the same reasons you don't like it.. :) We never use the bus, rarely use the pool and if we do, we drive to it (can you tell we like to drive ourselves places :) ) We don't mind that it isn't on the golf course as I grew up in a house on a golf course and lived in a house on a course for a number of years after I was married. So the view is a change of pace for us..

I agree, not many BAD locations. We usually request near the HH (usually they just give us 62, 63 or 64) because DD and friends like to walk around that area. At Christmas we were in Bldg 48, great view of golf course and very quite. For Thanksgiving we are requsting 23 - 26, we'd like to try this area.

Just make you request in the order of importance to you, such as smoking or non smoking and view. Have a magical stay.
