I live in a country that has flattened the curve, steadily reducing active cases every day, by practicing strict social distancing. I won't feel that it's really safe to return to the U.S. at all until there is a vaccine or at the very least a strong, readily available treatment that significantly boosts survival rates.
Sigh, I get so jealous of people in other countries when I hear stuff like this. In England the Queen goes on TV and reminds people about the sacrifices the British public made for the greater good in WWII. In America that would never happen because we are a country that actually glorifies the concept of being selfish under the guise of "personal freedoms."
