Hi all! I'm wondering if any of you make music playlists when you road trip or fly for your vacation. And if you do, what songs are on your playlist?

I always like to make a playlist when I fly that I can chill out to on the plane. At the moment I feel like I'm in a rut with my music. Any suggestions would be helpful!

DD & I spend a good bit of time traveling together by car. We've created a bunch of playlists so that we have something available for any silly mood that strikes. So far we have:

If we're driving south to Disney, I like to put together a 70s Southern Rock playlist. Lynrd Skynrd, Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet (yes, it's a thing--or, more specifically, a real band), Marshall Tucker, Elvin Bishop, etc. Keeps me energized.

Travel playlist? Uh, I think I still have an iPod, but I'd have to look for it. I guess it still works. Anyhow, I think most of what I like would drive Mrs. Tex to distraction, and she's a rabid fan of hard core classical music -- which gets on my nerves after a while. That's probably why the iPod has only been used once in four years.
