I am cooking dinner for my inlaws. I have never done a holiday meal for anyone other than my own family and that was with their help. I want this to be a good meal without being too crazy for me to pull off.
I am planning to make a turkey breast, which I am hoping for some inspiration on how to cook it to make it awesome.
Traditionally, I have to make dressing, potato salad, & deviled eggs because that has always been a part of how my family does it. Gabby wants broccoli, rice, & cheese casserole and pumpkin pie.
We also have pecan pie, mashed potatoes & gravy, wild rice, corn bread muffins, speckled butter beans, asperagas, and of course, cranberry sauce.
I have to have all of this meal done for lunch on Thanksgiving day. OMG! Plus, I have to take in a dish for my coworkers the day before Thanksgiving because we do the meal at work too.
Maybe I should go start something now....like Xanax.
