hmm..... I got it!

a sixteen yr old is driving his/her new car for the first time. He/She's on the highway and he/she sees a rainbow next to the stormy area. Go to like six months later and he/she has hit a hard times. He/She remembers the day on the highway and is reassured.

Of course, you can glorify and detail it all you want.
