I guess the best way to describe it would be if the events in Doctor Who were happening to you. People speculate that the Weeping Angels are involved because the video that was released (that scavenger hunt one on the main site) was called "Analysis Lesson", which is an anagram of "Lonely Assassin", which is one of the names people call them.

I want to do it, but I don't think I could convince my parents to let me go to Manchester at such short notice...

That would be terrifying indeed. There's one in the interactive bit of the Doctor Who Experience (which you should do, if you're coming to London over the Summer), but it didn't move, and it was quite dark in the room, so you couldn't really see it all that well...
