What's next for Tomorrowland?

I think one of the challenges with removing the pylons is that the track system is a structural component of the adjacent buildings. Though I suppose if they were to do a total overhaul of TL it wouldn't be as much of an issue.

Well, I'd actually much rather them use the track for something like, oh, I don't know, the People Mover, but it's just pointless to have them empty. It would be a massive overhaul, but if they could ever get away with it, after SWL opens would be it.

To put the people mover back in, they'd have to pretty much pull it down and start over. There are OSHA and Building codes that are far different now than when that ride was there. And the trouble is, that thing is integrated into so many of the buildings and such, they'd probably have to close half the land or all of it to do it. They are making plans for a complete overhaul of TL. They'll probably address it then.

Ironically the thing about Tomorrowland that predicted the future the best is Autopia. Cars really do go 5 mph on the freeway.

I am sure hoping that after the opening of Star Wars Land, that Tomorrowland gets some well needed love! My biggest wish is for the rockets to be moved, maybe back where they were originally. I mean, it creates such a bad bottleneck at the entrance. Second wish would be to have the TRON coaster! And, overall for the land to have some new life added to it. So much potential!

I would LOVE for Tron to come to DL!!!

Amazed people forgot tron used to be at Disneyland. People mover had a tron sequence at Disneyland that is not in the wdw version.

I do wonder about Star Tours. It's an amazingly popular and fun ride. I'd hate to see it go Marvel too.

I love Space Mountain so hopefully it stays. The successful Star Wars theming could be a sign of new themes in the future. Yes, bring back the People Mover!

I thought Marvel was probably going in DCA? That's what the rumors say anyway. Star Tours needs to move to SWL or be gone. I love it, but I don't think Star Wars needs a whole land and prime real estate in TL. I think it could be awesome if re-themed to Wall-E or BH-6. Honestly, I love what everyone is saying about Wall-E, BH-6, and Wreck-It-Ralph. If the new TL somehow incorporated all of these, I wouldn't care what it looks like so much.

And as always...bring back the PM (but modernized on a new track, obviously).
