Our last trip to DW was in Sept. 2003 and our next trip won't be until Sept. 2005. I was wondering if someone could tell me what might be coming up new at DW for 2005? Disney hasn't posted any attraction closings yet for "Refurbishment" better known as (labor management). Does anyone have any idea of any attraction closings for 2005?

New at MK for 2005
Nothing, unless they do something in a hurry with the space at 20K Lagoon.

New at AK for 2005
Maybe Expedition Everest will be finished by late 2005 (don't hold breath!)

New at EPCOT for 2005
Soarin should be finished by summer

New at MGM for 2005
Action Motors Stunt Spectacular sometime in 2005

Anything I forgot?

Small World should be finished with a full rehab.

Mickey's Philharmagic I think is newer than the OP's last visit.

Mission Space has arrived since your last visit I think.

Also try The Mummy's Revenge at Universal (replaces King Kong).

'Wishes' is the great new firework show at MK.

All of the Disney parks will celebrate Disneyland's 50th anniversary begining on May 5, and continuing throughout 2006. For this celebration, the parks are swapping several attractions and adding some new ones as well.

The Magic Kingdom will welcome "Cinderellabration" direct from Tokyo Disneyland.

Animal Kingdom will introduce "Lucky" the dinosaur. This will be the first-ever free-roaming Audio-Animatronics figure.

Other posters already mentioned "Soarin'" and "Lights, Motors, Action - Extreme Stunt Show", as well as "Expedition Everest".

No word on the exact dates for all of these, but some of them may be open by your visit.

Last week at WDW I was told the 20K space will be a pooh themed toddler playground by someone I would assume would be in the know about such things.

Don't shoot the messager

I'm getting a little worried that some things we hoped to experience in March, won't be operating yet.

On our list for this trip was..

Soarin, (also worried that Living with the Land" ride will not be operational due to work on Land pavillion.

Cinderellabration show

Small World reopening

Live Action Stunt show at MGM

Also, would have LOVED to see COP... missed due to closing last two trips!!

Guess we are a little spoiled. Every trip we have made, we have really lucked out and had nothing major closed.
