What's new at MK?

So now that I'm pretty sure we're going...

What is new at MK since our last visit in 2010? Is the new coaster a hit? What are the current shows/parades? We're not much for character meets but my DD does love Elsa - any Frozen stuff to see/do other than the A&E meet? Any new restaurants added?

What are the current sites to visit for planning? I want to check the emh and crowd calendars for our dates. There was a free site (I want to say his name was Dave?) that offered crowd info and touring tips that was very good but I can't recall the url. Not touringplans...

Definitely check out EasyWDW.

There have been a number of changes since 2010, mainly the New Fantasyland and Storybook Circus expansions. Be Our Guest is the only new restaurant, and while the food is just okay it's worth getting a lunch or dinner ADR for so you can see the inside of the Beast's Castle.

Dave runs www.**************.net, and Josh runs www.easywdw.com. They recently wrote a book together, and I highly recommend it. It is called The Easy Guide To Your First Visit, but it is also good for people who have been before.

New Fantasyland is the biggest change. It was also a major expansion, and it took over the old Mickey's Toontown Fair area. In addition to 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, there's the Little Mermaid ride, 2 Dumbos, Enchanted Tales With Belle, and the Casey Jr. playground.

Be Our Guest is a beautiful restaurant, with subpar food. Lunch is quick service and dinner is table service. I only tried lunch because the dinner menu was not appealing at all. However, dinner has beer and wine, making BOG the first (and only) restaurant to serve alcohol at MK.

Finally, the Festival of Fantasy Parade is only a year old. It looks like a great parade. The new My Magic Plus program is great, but many people hate it.

Squeezing in a day at MK to see what's new and to get a quick Disney fix.

Starting Feb 25, you will be able to make ADR's like with all other WDW restaurants.
