What's new at IOA and USO since 2004

We were at IOA and USO at Thanksgiving in 2004 and are thinking about returning this Thanskgiving. What new rides and attractions are there?

Is 4 or 5 days too many for the two parks?

We are planning on staying on-site so would have FOTL.

You are more excited because kids don't understand how much work goes into planning these trips. And most people spend most of their life in a boring job. So it gives adults something to look forward too.

This is so true! I told my DH that I was feeling vacation withdrawal and needed to have a vacation to look forward to!

We are going over Thanksgiving too and I am equally obsessed Especially since we finally booked our airfare. We are going the Saturday before Thanksgiving to the following Sunday, and we think 8 days might be too short

But we like to relax and just wander around the parks and ride when we feel like it. We sleep in (that 2 hour time difference kills our teens) and be bad tourists and head over around 10:00. Thank goodness for FOTL. We also like to do a cabana day at the HRH pool for a down day. This year we might run over to Disney for a day or two to ride Everest, but who knows. Last time we were there for 10 days with plans to do a few days at Disney, but just never quite made it over there

4 - 5 days is actually perfect in that you will get to do everything you want to do and not have to rush.

Don't miss the Shrek and Donkey meet and greet opposite of the Shrek souvenier shop, jus tpast the Shrek 4-D show in Universal.

That was new for us this past June and we had not been since 2004.

Donkey talks and gives a little mini show with each person. We found ourselves repeatedly going back to listen to Donkey's schtick. A dead on Eddie Murphy!

4 - 5 days is actually perfect in that you will get to do everything you want to do and not have to rush.

we totally agree...when we were just there, we never made it over to the parks before 11am any day! FOTL spoils you and you don't have to rush! I can really go home after UO rested and relaxed and not "needing a vacation" to recover from vacation (unlike Disney...altho, I do enjoy Disney, FOTL just beats it out! )
