What's new and opening?

Our last trip was Oct 2015. We went twice last year and we decided to wait a bit for another trip. Despite that thought we are starting to itch for a trip so I started last night scouring the boards to see what's new. Can anyone direct me to any links to help me discover what's new and opening. If you've done something new I'd like to hear what it was and your perspective on it.TIA

The new Soarin opens in 2 days. The new Frozen stuff at Epcot opens in a week. There's new Star Wars fireworks at HS, a new daytime stage show at MK. Animal Kingdom's Rivers of Light has been delayed but there is a Jungle Book themed show currently in its place that is new, as well as Animal Kingdom until late night which is a new experience for most guests.

My wife and I were just talking about this last night. We've been to WDW plenty, and 5 times in the past 11 months. However, we're really excited for this trip because there's a bunch of new stuff that we haven't seen before. All the things Oswin just mentioned above. Plus, we're going to try to do things we haven't done before, or done in a really long time. So while we're going to do all the "traditional" Disney stuff, there's so much new that it'll be an adventure.

Any word on when Rivers of Light will be done?

We did three big trips in a row over the course of three years. We decided to take a break one year... and ended up driving to Disneyland .
