Thinking maybe we'll rent a boat on Bay Lake that day. We did that once and it was lovely! Then we might go the MK and check out the Summer Nightastic fireworks!

You will! He had no idea what he was in for and I was so afraid he wouldn't love it but at the end of every night when we got back to our room he would say, " I LOVE Magic Kingdom" or "I LOVE Epcot"....wherever we were that day! Sooooo glad he now loves it!

I'm sure they will extend it. Why wouldn't they? They are probably making lots of money! It was $53 for both of us and I'm SURE we will not eat $50 worth of desserts...although I'm sure we'll try.

I did not know that!

Yes, well we have lunch at the Biergarten that afternoon so I'm sure we'll stuff ourselves at that buffet then just have a snack or two to hold us over. Definitely not a big dinner! Want to be good and hungry for all the desserts!

A CM told me when I was booking ADR's on the phone and she said that it is well worth booking tickets for and that the desserts are just amazing.

Hi I've only skimmed through so far (I'm going to go back and read more in a few minutes.)

I just wanted to post and say that we also had a Disney Wedding and Honeymoon and went the week prior to our 'actual' anniversary the next year due to the AP expiration reason too! We have now been back every year since then for our anniversary and will be there again this July for anniversary #3

Last summer we went to the MK Dessert Party on July 3 and I can just say that you are SO SMART to stay out of the MK on that day. I can't even begin to describe to you the horror that was that night! I was SOOO glad we were in the safety of the noodle station!!

Looking forward to reading! (oh, and I'm a teacher too, so the summer is our only option just like you!)

Where did my post go? I wanted to pick up where I left off and I swear I posted some pics from our second day at MGM! WTH!? Anyway, in a nutshell....

Day 2 ~ We went to MGM, as it was still called back then. We spent some time hanging around Star Tours, as that's DH's thing!

Rode RNRC...

...and TOT...

...then headed to the Backlot Tour. I was sooo upset at what they had done to this attractions since I last rode it in 2003. Where was my Golden Girls' house?!? Now it was all Lights Motors BS. We were happy to see a prop from Pirates 2 though! And Catastrophe Canyon is a classic gem!

Next we had an ADR at Sci Fi Dine In! We loved it!

After lunch, we strolled around the Streets of America...

Met Herbie...

....and wanted to take our pictures with the Singing In The Rain umbrella but we had to wait a good 5 minutes because this family was practically showering under it!!!

And back for one more ride on Star Tours before what I will always remember as the hottest 30 minutes of my entire LIFE!!!

I'm so glad you said you liked the Sci-Fi...I heard some not so good reviews on it but I want to try it out on our next trip, I think DDad would love the theming!

We've eaten there a few times, mostly because the onion rings are delicious, the drinks are strong and you can't beat the atmosphere!

Alright, so I started recapping our first trip together in 2006, but as I said before, I grew up going to WDW. I recently went through some old disney albums and scanned and uploaded. I will finish 2006 first but I can't wait to show you guys all the old pics!! It's amazing how much has changed! I'll just give you a teaser or two!

My very first castle picture! I'm the one in the stroller. I was 18 months old!

These were our tickets from that trip. Epcot wasn't even opened yet but there was a monorail preview that you had to get tickets for! (Just looked it over and see that it was for Florida residents! We met up with my mom's sister and her family on that trip, too. They are from Miami so I guess that's how we got the tickets!)
