i will be going on the 10th.. when does the christmas season start?
will i get to see christmas decorations? the fantillusion? and at what time does the park usually close? thankss :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Hi

I'm not sure when the decorations go up but we were there last year 15th - 19th November. The park closed at 7pm & WDS closed at 6pm. There are rumours going around that Fantillusion won't be on this year, I hope they are just rumours because it was brilliant.

Christmas season starts 7th November so the decs will be up by the 10th. Not sure about Fantillusion though

We were there last day on day1 one of Christmas and they had everything up and you can see them lighting the tree (twice if you really want...). Everything has that Xmas feeling - even though it's still November.

Then you have to leave and wait for the real Xmas lol.

Also the 11th will be very busy as its a French holiday so be aware that you probably wont be able to get so much done on that Friday. Fingers crossed for Fantillusion! We're there the 7th - 10th too :goodvibes

I'm also visiting in November and have done so a couple of times in the past.

I've found that the parks are normally very quiet on weekdays. You can often stay on for 2nd rides on things like Pirates and Small World. Most rides are walk ons.

The weather can be quite bad. On our last November trip it rained very heavily every day so be prepared!

I'm expecting there to be a lengthy list of closures this November. They want everything ready for the big 20th birthday party next year. I'd imagine some of the big rides will be closed.

I hope we do get Fantillusion, my son loves it!

So far the ride closures that I've read on Twitter whilst we are there are Disneyland Railroad, Flying Carpets, Peter Pan & the treehouse. I've also heard that Annette's diner will be closed for the whole of November, which I'm gutted about as I loved it there.
