What's it like in April?

The last two years we did late April/early May and the weather was beautiful. Last year was hotter but not summer like humidity. This year was perfect-my husband remarked how people looked much less stressed than our summer trips-probably because they weren’t ready to pass out from the heat!

We were there mid April. Highs mid 80s, lows mid 60s. Rain one day for about an hour. Crowds were not too bad. We were past the Spring Break groups. Flower and Garden was fun. Not as good as Food and Wine, but they are still working on it and this year was better than last year.

Easter is late this year. A lot of NY schools will have Spring Break the week of April 22-26.

Thanks for the tip! We could always go on the 26th or close to it. We could even just fly out on my birthday; I don't really mind.

I’m close in age to you. My dad and I went for a long weekend this April. The weather and crowds were so nice, my non-Disney loving dad got converted and is now asking to go back! It was warm, but low humidity and crowds were moderate. Flower and Garden Festival was great!

The end of April is my absolutely favorite time to go, but I love the Flower and Garden Festival. We went this year, and although the forecast was 80% chance of rain the whole time, we only had a couple of short showers and the rest of the time was GORGEOUS!

Easter in 2019 is April 21st. Depending on when in April you are going, it's going to be pretty crowded.

Average high temperature is 83°F (23C). Not a lot of rain.
