Those two lists are so the same! who's is it? Who wrote it cos its the pretty much the same but with items switched around?

Two lists? Maybe there was one is from a poster I've blocked who often puts up wrong info, sorry I didn't see that. Anyway, I started that list a couple of years ago, but many people posted and contributed to it as it grew over time. So it's "mine" in the sense that I started the original thread, but it's really s great team effort by the board members here.

I was surprised at the "mandatory" per-person, per-day tipping added to one's on-board charges. That is an un-escapeable charge that is not part of the stated price, and can add up. I was a little shocked to find that I needed to budget nearly $800 more for our WBTA because of the tips.

Everything else you can decide to "add" at your discretion, but the tips are an automatic minimum.

(Not arguing that the staff deserves them -- of course they do! Just saying that the numbers added up and surprised me: it made a big difference in my budgeting).

Yes, NCL now calls them a "service charge" and I was told they are no longer removable while onboard! DCL, however, is much more accommodating. It is an added expense, but for the past couple of cruises we have pre-paid our gratuities so that our onboard bill isn't so high in the end. It's nice not to have to worry about them once onboard. I have had reason on a couple of other cruise lines to remove some or all of my tips because of extreme circumstances, but never on DCL -- in fact sometimes we even tip more.

Yes, Princess Shmoo posted a list with the exact same start "Here is this list I have compiled over recent years," now edited though.
The items were mostly the same but arranged in a different order, with a few additions and edits.
I thought it must be the same list as "23. Tip for Castaway Cay cabana host (you’ll need cash for this one)" and "6 Cellular phone calls (will be billed later to your phone bill) were too similar to not be the same.

I really isn't fair when another member doesn't disclose their source and they try to claim ownership or authoring something for the greater good of the community.
