I found that if you left the door to the fridge part on the dresser open then the fridge was colder and the freezer kept things frozen. We were at CSR. Trying CBR this go round.
Another reason to use double bagged ice, if it melts you can always get more at CS locations to replenish what you have lost.
Ahh, that may have been part of it. We always closed the door to the dresser part. I stayed at CBR a few years ago and loved it! It's a beautiful resort! I don't remember having a problem with the fridge freezing things there.
If I remember right from our trip last year, the mini fridge at Shades of Green kept everything pretty cold, so it should keep an ice pack cold. It had a tiny freezer but I think you'd be able to keep a small ice pack in there for a soft sided cooler. I would definitely check the settings on the fridge before leaving anything in there though!
We took my husband's issued day pack (and a smaller pink camelback for our oldest daughter) with us on our Sept. trip and the 'mommy hook' was able to hold that big backpack with a full camelback inside it. I'm surprised it didn't fall over though since it's done that with just a bag full of library books on it!
