MissGalinda, it's from the book and musical Wicked. If you don't know what I'm talking about you should look it up. It's so awsome!

Miss_Elphie: I love this musical called Wicked. My favorite character is Elphaba (who is later the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz). When I made my VMK character I went through numerous variations of this name as many were taken. I finally settled on Miss_Elfie even though it was spelled wrong . VMK later (and rather randomly) removed the underscore from my name, changing it to MissElfie. When I came to DIS I was thrilled to find that the correct spelling of Miss Elphie was not taken. So there you have it- that's how I got my name!

I LOVE WICKED! Both musical and book. You girls have great names.
As for mine, DLlimited, comes from the announcement before the steam train arrives at Main Street Station in Disneyland(I love the Disneyland trains). The announcement goes, "Your attention please, the Disneyland Limited, is now arriving..." And that is how I got my name, DLlimited=Disneyland Limited.

What do you mean, nothing exciting? I love Vegas. I was only there once but I loved it. I'm not really a gambler, but I love the shows, the lights, the people, the fact that everything is open 24 hours (I'm a night owl). Even McDonalds was lite up in lights.

I was called Funniebunny by my fiance. Before we met I had spoken to him on the phone and he said I was a funny bunny so it has stuck. I know it sounds a bit rude but I quite like it.

I chose Belle because Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite Movie.
It is really the story of my DH and I. I really did not like him. I saw him as a bully, and had no interest in him. “Both a little scared neither one prepared” But he had interest in me. He asked me out for coffee while I was doing reception. Trapped! I did not want to hurt his feelings so I said yes thinking it would be in the cafeteria. Wrong
He said how about when he gets of work on Friday. Ok I said. Stuck
I did not want to hurt his feelings, so I went home and left a nice message saying how tired I was from work it had been a long week (it was Friday) how about another time. He heard the message and listen to it many times to see if it was a rejection. (I guess I was too nice ) So he called me up and said how about lunch oh no, really stuck!!! I really did not like this guy but I said yes cause I did not want to hurt his feeling. “He was coarse and unrefined” Dumb me. Wrong!!!! We met and lunch turned into a 12 hour date. Of just talking and getting to know each other. And then I knew this was the man I was going to marry after one date.
And he is the best catch ever. We are really close and ladies my husband even cooks. He said it is self preservation, cause when we started dating he looked in my oven and saw a file box full of files
So remember the story of Beauty and the Beast to look beyond the outward actions and appearances to find the heart that lies within. My husband adores me and I adore him. And just like the beast he is no longer coarse and unrefined and has a heart of Gold . So there is the back ground behind my name on Dis it is Belle1997 the year we were married. I did not want to use that on VMK so I thought Belle would probably be taken. And I wanted to be Belle. VMK is like little kids at WDW so I named her LittleBelle. And made her look just like me as a kid. My DH laughs cause that is how I looked when he met me. Same hair cut and dressed the same way. My DH on VMK is Lukethe beast. Luke for part of our last name and the beast since that is the other half of Belle and I aways call him my beast.

Mine was easy. I actually wanted DCLWonder but it was already taken. So I picked "Cruiselinefan" for my love of the Disney Cruise line. My other character is StarWarsManiac because I am a huge Star Wars Fan as well.

my vmk name is mewmewpwr- ppl think its named after the show and often tell me "i love that show" well its not. i wanted to say meowmeowpwr but it didn't sound right so i gave myself options meowcatpwr No! mewmeowpwr No then i though mewmewpwr! and i said thats a GREAT NAME! so i kept it when i got my name on vmk after the third day my cousin told me that mewmewpwr was a show but it was spelt mew mew power she told me the time and date and vala i took a shot and watched the show its not bad but i think the pink girl is addorible! so i have her pick on dis board

Red Bay is in the Bruce penninsula in Ontario, CA. I grew up on the east side of Detroit. However, I spent all of my summers as a child in the Bruce. My grandfather had grown up there and when he retired he returned. He owned an abandoned farm house and 325 acres on the Sauble River, near Sauble Beach. (There were five bedrooms!) To a city kid it was paradise. On hot days, we went to the beach, on cool days we fished, picked berries, built forts and ran wild. I learned how to ride a horse bare back and how to shoot a rifle. There was no electricity so no TV or radio and we all seemed to get along better up there. The place burned down when I was 15 and the government claimed the property by emminent domain for their national park system a year later.

As a young adult I camped there and volunteered on a couple of archaeological digs. I fell in love there (twice) and dreamed of someday owning land there. Six years ago my DH, who loves it as much as I do, and I bought 70 acres in Red Bay.

It is a place I dream of when I am stressed out and in desperate need of a break.

So long story short, it seems in one way or another I am always redbaybound!

Mine's pretty Simple: ThurlFan is a tribute to Thurl Ravenscroft - the man with the greatest voice ever! Sang the lead in "Grim Grinning Ghosts" (he's the one that's tilted to one side and often mistaken for Walt Disney), and participated in countless Disney shorts, features, and audio recordings.

Also, he was the original voice of Tony The Tiger (Kelloggs's Frosted Flakes), and did the song "No Dogs Allowed" for the movie Snoopy Come Home and the ever popular "You're A Mean One" from the animated version of the Grinch.

Oh, Be, your story is not boring at all...you just picked the wrong definition. If you were a student at Hogwarts, you would know that a Bezoar is "A stone taken from the stomach of a goat, which will protect from most poisons." ...and indeed it saves one of the main characters in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

My real name is Greek for full moon (I was born under one and they make me crazy! Or crazier....whatever) and I love the moon. Miakoda is a Native American name that also means full moon....I wanted my online persona to have a name that meant full moon also, so I did a name search and I liked Miakoda best! So I use it for almost everything I do online. (It's also on the list for possible future daughter names!)

Well, VMK wouldn't approve Califgirl, so I opted for Cazalet (the name of my horse).My other character DLNika, is named for my dog. Nika was already taken, so DLNika is for Disneyland Nika, as this character was created at Disneyland.

My name is after my siblings.

My kids are both named after siblings also.

Kristopher (oldest son) after my sister Kristi
Cody (youngest son) after my sister Cotilla (Coty) who died as an infant

Malia after my other sister Malia who also died as an infant
and Mike after my brother Mike who died in 2001 at age 38. My sisters both died years before I was born, so I never knew them, but not a day goes by that I don't miss Mike.

I usually use another name on sites, but for some reason my son used that for his girl account, so I couldn't use it, and everyname I tried was taken, so I tried just Malia, also taken, MaliaMichelle also taken, so I just used MaliaMike.
