So, are you in the marching band? I was a band geek too in HS. I was in color guard (flag girl). Boy I was SOOOO popular. LOL, NOT! Some of the best times of my life though, especially when we won grand champions at a competition! Our school's sports teams sucked, but our band was one of the top in the state! Not bad for a small town. So yes, I was and always will be a band geek.

Me too, Miakoda. Trombone from fifth grade through college, and I still play with a big band in my area called Swing Time (an authentic 18-piece 1940's style big band). We play for public dances, private parties, do the "park gazebo" circuit during the summer, etc. I'll never give up playing !!

LOL, I alwasy wondered why a lot of ppl had "alpha" or "ace" or "avast" in front of their names, I didn't know until I made a mule and the name was alreday taken, and it gave me those options. haha, I was like, "NOOOOW I get it!"

My vmk name is CL_FrontierSuzy The CL part is known, the Suzy part I got from the name of a mouse in Cinderella. The Frontier part came up after the Suzy part was already taken. I chose Frontier because it sounded better than the other option "alpha" lol.My goal was actually to use the name Pansy. But oh well.

Lol my first colorguard uniform included black skirts with purple lame (not lame like "those costumes were incredibly lame"...lame as in the material pronounced "la-may") lining and a big slit up one side, so when we ran you could see our lovely legs and the inside of the skirt, flashing purple. They were so awesome. It was great to see the boys from other schools at competitions in the practice areas, oogling us like they had never seen a girl's leg before (and being band geeks, they probably hadn't)! Good stuff! That was my junior year: the costumes our senior year were incredibly lame (not lame as in the material pronounced "la-may", lame as in "those costumes were incredibly lame").

Ok.. so mine... well...

I always wear a chain with two charms... a silver hockey stick... and a gold 4-leaf clover... (a) because I play hockey... b) because I am Irish)

When it came to choosing my vmk name... I was fiddling with the charms... and "irishhockey" just made the most sense to me...

I wish I did a better job tho... people tend to think of poor lil "i rush" as a boy... and of course that new green hat does not help my case...

kept the dis name same as the vmk name so people could easily find me when they needed to...

When I was very very young (about 12 years old..23 years ago! ), I used to play Dungeons and Dragons. Tequoia was a half human/ half elf thief that I created. She was my fave character and the name kind of stuck. No one ever uses it so I can always get it for emails and log ins. People call me Teq for short on the boards I post to.

I wanted "cat_herder" with the underscore but VMK wouldn't let me. I use "cat_herder" almost everywhere else online.

Cat herder comes from the fact:
1) I have lots of cats
2) and the saying "It was like herding cats", meaning "it was very hard to do".
I like to do things the proper way and not take a lot of shortcuts, I think that leads to shoddy work and I would rather do something right/proper and have it look correct and nice, not just do it quickly; but a lot of people will tell me that I'm doing it the hard way.

Have you ever seen the cat herder commercial?? It played during the superbowl a few years ago. It was hilarious!!!! This men on horses are galloping behind hundreds of cats, and they are telling each other about wounds on their faces. One man says points to a big scratch on his face, "got this one from a calico." LOL LOL

Mine doesn't have much of a background to it, lol. But anyway, I chose Mikailah because I've always liked the name. Originally, I wanted my name to be Mikalah, but it was taken, so I added an 'i' to it. Honestly, the 'i' annoys, me, LOL.

Oh yeah come to my free Hotel(Tomz Hotel) and Game Show(Tomz Game Show) oh yeah you can join my army but there is nobody is in it because I think armies are banned from VMK but it is Tomz Greatest Army.They are such ketchy(not sure if that is how you spell it) names.lol.
